| Gary Barlow's wife is "unimpressed" by his fame
Gary Barlow has revealed that his wife isn't impressed by the success his career brings and is more enthused when he helps out with housework.
The singer-songwriter explained that his stint as a judge on The X Factor propelled him to an even higher level of fame, but Dawn is uninterested in his status or how well Take That's records are selling and instead is very "real", which helps keep him grounded:
"She is so unimpressed by everything, my wife is. I f I ever did come home and say, 'Babe, we've sold two million albums today,' it would be like, 'Well, can you just finish the kids' tea?' None of this success figures in our lives. It's just the pantomime that goes with what I do."
The couple have three children together, 11-year-old Daniel, nine-year-old Emily, and two-year-old Daisy, and have known each other for years. Barlow added:
"Dawn is real. She has known me through thick and thin. She has known me at 198lbs when nobody wanted to call me any more. She has known me through it all."

The Take That singer has become a heartthrob in recent months after joining the judging panel of UK TV show 'The X Factor' but insists his spouse of 11 years isn't bothered and refuses to treat him like one.

Gary – who has three children, Daniel, 11, Emily, nine, and two-year-old Daisy, with Dawn – said of his new sex symbol status: "I still don't know how I feel about it. I've got a sense of humour about it because, 21 years in, you know how quickly people's opinions change. It amuses me at the moment – I send my wife pictures from photo shoots, saying, 'See how lucky you are?' I'm happily winding everyone up!
"But she is so unimpressed by everything, my wife is. I f I ever did come home and say, 'Babe, we've sold two million albums today,' it would be like, 'Well, can you just finish the kids' tea?' None of this success figures in our lives. It's just the pantomime that goes with what I do."
Gary's popularity with the public has fluctuated over the years and he says dancer Dawn has been his once source of continued support.

| TWO more of the Tibetan Spaniels that were snatched from Oxford kennels shortly after Christmas have been found in Aldermaston.
After five microchipped Tibetan Spaniels were dognapped on December 27, one of the dogs was found by Tadley police at Paices Hill traveller’s site in Aldermaston the next morning, and later that evening, another was handed in at Tadley Police Station by a member of the public who found the dog wandering just outside the Paices Hill site.
On Friday (January 6), following an appeal on this website, a further two dogs have turned up in the same area.
Owners, Heather Simper and Liz Scoates, of Upton, near Didcot, said their dogs Amy and Gladys were found by Thames Valley Police on Friday. They said in a joint statement: ““Amy is very thin and obviously not eaten since she left us eleven days ago and Gladys has lost quite a bit of weight, but after a bath and some food and being reunited with their mates they are improving.”
They remained concerned, however, for the whereabouts of the one remaining missing spaniel, Alice - Amy’s sister.
“Liz and I are thrilled to have Gladys and Amy back with us but are still very worried about the safety of Alice, as she is only eight months old and now on her own so the search MUST go on.
We hope we find Alice soon.”
The five dogs are thought to have been taken from kennels at the back of the owners’ property, by four men in a silver pick-up truck.
Soon after they were taken, friends of the owners set up a web page on the social networking site Facebook called ‘Missing Tibetan Spaniels’. It triggered a huge response, attracting followers from the US.
More than 2000 people joined the online hunt, which spread to Twitter, with celebrities such as Gary Barlow and Davina McCall called upon to help.
“We would like to thank everyone who have helped in the return of four of our dogs, in particular Thames valley Police for all their efforts so far, DogLost, DogWatch Alert, the 2,390 people on the Missing Tibetan Spaniel Facebook page,” said Ms Simper and Ms Scoates.
Alice (pictured), the remaining missing eight-month-old Tibetan Spaniel, is red with a white chest and ruff.
Anyone who thinks they may have spotted Alice is urged to contact Pc Gary Dixon, of Thames Valley Police, on the non emergency telephone number, 101, or alternatively, their local police force.
The owners are offering a reward for anyone who provides information which leads to the safe return of the dog.
Tibetan Spaniels originate from the Himalayan mountains, where monks used them as watchdogs. Puppies can cost up to £1,000.

| Yesterday The Prime Minister and Samantha Cameron hosted a reception to celebrate BBC Children in Need’s most successful year ever.
The charity took the opportunity to announce that £46 million will be awarded to projects across the UK this year. This is the highest amount ever, and will make a real difference to the lives of children and young people.
The charity’s campaign kicked off in September and reached a fabulous crescendo during Appeal week with Gary Barlow’s phenomenal concert at the MEN Arena and the fantastic night of fundraising on 18 November.
David Ramsden, Chief Executive of BBC Children in Need thanked everyone involved, saying; “The incredible amount raised is only due to the energy and imagination of our supporters. From cake sales to concerts, the country came together like never before. Everyone should be proud that they are helping us to change lots of young lives right here in the UK.”
Fearne Cotton reflected on the fantastic amount being given out to projects, saying; "It was an honour to be invited to No 10. to celebrate Children in Need's record breaking year. To give grants of £46million for disadvantaged children in such tough times is incredible and as always I've loved being involved and playing my part." Gary Barlow, who supported the charity greatly in 2011, echoed Fearne’s comments, stating; "It was an honour to celebrate Children in Need's phenomenal success at Downing Street with so many of the charity's supporters. Meeting the amazing children helped by the charity is always a reminder of why Children in Need's work is so important."
Gary and other guests met a number of children from projects that BBC Children in Need support, such as children from Eclectic Productions; a youth radio station based in Peckham for young people at risk of dropping out of education. Children from DGSM Your Choice; an inclusive arts workshop for children with both learning and physical disabilities also attended and discussed with guests why the support they got from BBC Children in Need made a difference to their lives.
BBC Children in Need look forward to another successful year in 2012, helping make a real difference to young lives and reach their vision that every child in the UK has a safe, happy and secure childhood and the chance to reach their potential. | GARY Barlow didn't encounter many stars during his stint as a judge on The X Factor.

But the singer is more than making up for it while sitting in front of the telly.
He's become an avid viewer of BBC2 show Stargazing Live.
Gary is a big fan of Sun Professor Brian Cox – who presents the show with Dara O'Briain – and doesn't miss an episode.
He's made his new passion known on Twitter and Brian has since invited him up to Jodrell Bank Observatory near Manchester, where the show is filmed.
Should Gary head up north, his Take That band-mate Robbie Williams will no doubt be on the blower.
If only to ask if Gary can keep an eye out for any UFOs while he's searching for new planets.

| Today is Gary Barlow's birthday. We have celebrated by eating some cake, mainly because we like cake, but also because we wanted to mark the special day in some way. We also sent him a Tweet (so far no reply, but we're refreshing every three seconds exactly so we're sure that will change soon), and we're not the only ones.
Basically anyone who's anyone in celebrity world has been wishing Gary a happy birthday on Twitter today.
Lulu - who sang the lady bit on Take That's Relight My Fire and was rumoured to have got a bit frisky with Jason Orange - sent Gary a message that said: 'hippy, happy, hoppy birthday'. Gary replied with 'thanks Loobie x'- which we might take to calling her from now on.
Chris Moyles sent a message, saying: 'Happy Birthday @GBarlowOfficial Here is a{<Ü Have a few {<Üx{<Üx{<Üx's tonight And hope you get nice {<Ü's!' which we don't fully understand, because something seems to have malfunctioned on our computer, but Gary's (probably quite posh) computer obviously did, as Gary replied to say 'cheers pal.'
Gazza also got messages from Marcus Collins, who said 'happy birthday young man' and Fearne Cotton - who climbed Kilamanjaro for Comic Relief with Gary in 2009 - said 'happy birthday Captain! xx

Gary's been carefully replying to all of the celebs this morning (he's polite like that) and also Tweeted a picture of the present his mum had bought him, which looked like a nice pen. So that is officially what you get the man who has everything.

Take That and marathon stars back our bench
Walkers and cyclists using the new Riversdale Bridge in Northwich are now able to share it with Take That frontman Gary Barlow and Marathon World Record-holder Paula Radcliffe.
A portrait bench featuring life-sized portraits of the famous pair, alongside that of a saltworker to reflect the unique history and culture of Northwich, has been officially unveiled as part of a national art project from Sustrans. Both stars have expressed delight at being chosen to appear on the bench.
Gary Barlow says; ‘When I was growing up in Cheshire I was outdoors a lot, either walking or on my bike. This route will give local people, particularly a new generation of youngsters, the opportunity to be more active so it will be a huge asset to the area. I’m delighted to be featured on the new artwork along the route and hope people feel inspired to use it regularly.’
Paula Radcliffe said; ‘I’m pleased to feature on the portrait bench. I hope that it will encourage people to get out along the walking and cycling route and enjoy the health and wellbeing benefits that regular exercise brings.’
The three characters were selected as deserving local heroes to be immortalised in a portrait bench next to the River Dane after being nominated by local people.
The Riversdale bridge opened more than a year ago and is a quick and direct walking and cycling link between Greenbank and the Hartford Campus, and Leftwich and Sir John Deane’s College.
Peter Foster, Sustrans’ Director in the north west of England, says: ‘The bridge has given people more choice about how they make their local, daily journeys, meaning they can choose to leave their cars at home and walk or cycle instead. Now that the portrait bench is in place, it is an even better experience with a unique, local significance.’
Local Councillor Helen Weltman said: “Cheshire West and Chester Council is delighted to work with Sustrans on this exciting project. The portrait bench is a striking addition to the landscape. As well as being a great place to relax and enjoy the surroundings, it is sure to be a real point of intrigue for passers-by.”
The Northwich portrait bench is one of around 80 other portrait benches being created along walking and cycling routes around the UK, each depicting characters relevant to their local area.
It has been funded thanks to a grant awarded to Sustrans by the Big Lottery Fund, with the route and bench at Northwich led in partnership with Cheshire West and Chester Council.

| Strictly Come Dancing stars Alex Jones and Matt Baker are to dance together for a one-off special this week, it has been revealed.
The pair, who have both competed on the show in the past two years, will perform a special Foxtrot to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee weekend.
And even X Factor judge Gary Barlow will be getting involved, providing the music.
Welsh telly host Alex said: “I’m so excited.
“We’re presenting The One Show from the Queen’s sofa in the music room on Tuesday, to announce plans for the Diamond Jubilee weekend. Matt and I will be dancing and, if we’re lucky, Gary Barlow will be on the piano. I don’t know what part I’m most excited about!”
And the pair are being taught by Strictly professionals James and Ola Jordan.
“It feels very weird having James and his wife, Ola, teaching Matt and I as a couple,” Alex told the Sunday Mirror. “And at the beginning, we were both worried about whether we were holding each other too tightly or too loosely, but it feels quite natural dancing with him.
“We’ve built up such a rapport over the past year that we’ll happily pull each other up if one of us steps out of line – quite literally!”
Alex also confessed to missing Strictly since last year’s series ended in December.
She explained: “It’s very odd. Every week was so filled with anxiety, yet looking back, it was like being a part of the best and most glamorous Saturday night out ever. Saturdays are now a bit flat for me, to be honest, and I find myself trying to find something exciting to do.”

| Оказывается Гари худеет с миндалём?
Диетологи во всём мире признали пользу миндаля и Гари Барлоу приедрживался строгой диеты в основе которой был миндаль.
