Gary Barlow has dismissed plans to write and record a solo album while he takes a break from Take That.
The singer-songwriter insisted that he will only be writing material for other acts, including fellow Take That member Robbie Williams, after scooping the 'Classic Songwriter' gong at yesterday's Q Awards.
Barlow told the Daily Star: "I'm doing a couple of solo shows before Christmas but I'll not keep songs for myself, even though I write all the time.
"I'm touched to get this Q Award. 'Back For Good' would be my personal classic song from all those I've written."
The 40-year-old added that he has found his time as a judge on this year's X Factor a lot more challenging than he initially thought it would be.
He explained: "It's been ten times harder than I expected. We're all so involved."
Commenting on the weekend's "bullying" controversy on the show, Barlow maintained that he will not get involved.
"I will judge on what I see. I have no respect for what Louis [Walsh] has done musically. Westlife have done well but everything else… No," he said.
"I feel very protective of my acts. I don't know what to do with Frankie [Cocozza]. He's brilliant but I need something back. Get your f**king songs learned."
Barlow has announced plans to play two headline solo gigs in the UK at the beginning of December to help raise money for The Prince's Trust.

Take That star Gary Barlow marks a massive milestone on Thursday, January 20 - the singer/songwriter turns 40. Born in 1971 in Cheshire, north-west England, Barlow's big break in the music industry came in 1990 when he was introduced to manager Nigel Martin-Smith and landed a part in the line-up of boy band Take That.
Along with bandmates Robbie Williams, Mark Owen, Howard Donald and Jason Orange, he went on to dominate the charts in the U.K. during the early 1990s, before Williams left in 1995 and the group split the following year. Barlow later topped the charts again as a solo artist and, after a break from the spotlight, he enjoyed fresh success when the band reunited as a four-piece - minus Williams - in 2006. Williams has since rejoined the line-up.
To say Happy Birthday to Gary, WENN has compiled 10 fascinating facts about the star:
* His interest in music began early on in life - when Barlow was just 10 years old. He received a keyboard for Christmas and spent the next few years teaching himself to play his favorite songs.
* Barlow's track "Pray" was Take That's first number one single in 1993. They've since had 11 more songs top the chart in Britain.
* He sang backing vocals on Elton John's "Lion King" hit "Can You Feel the Love Tonight".
* After Take That split in 1996, Barlow embarked on a short solo career and also wrote tracks for other artists, including Dame Shirley Bassey and Charlotte Church.
* The singer has Take That to thank for his family - he met wife Dawn on the group's 1995 Nobody Else Tour. The couple now has three children.
* He shares his birthday with director David Lynch, astronaut Buzz Aldrin and fellow British singer Will Young.
* Barlow was the Director of Music for British TV show Britannia High, which ran in 2008. However, it was dropped after just one season due to poor ratings.
* He organized a trek up Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa to benefit British organization Comic Relief in 2009, roping in celebrity pals including Ronan Keating and Cheryl Cole.
* The singer was once named the greatest British songwriter of all time, beating The Beatles legend John Lennon.
* Barlow is celebrating his birthday with a charity show - his first solo gig in 11 years. It takes place on Thursday night in London

| На просторах интернета я откопала вот это . На прошлой неделе Гари на твиттере разместил видео некой группы the Struts просто написал что хорошая новая группа и все, я не обратила особого внимания на это, сейчас мне попалось вот то что он как бы является продюсером этой группы или они будут записыватся на его рекорд лейбле (у Гари есть рекорд лейбл-я незнала : o ) пока как все на уровне слухов короче вот они

| IT was a dream come true when Gary Barlow asked Rizzle Kicks to be involved with new Children In Need single Teardrop.
We have followed Children In Need every year from a very young age, so just to be part of it was special.
There’s a lot of love for Gary and now we want him to be in our rap crew.
We’ve rechristened him the Big G Dogg in honour of his skills, he’s sick.
It’s a bit early for us to be asking him to get us on X Factor, but we have been on the Xtra Factor with our mate Olly Murs.
Olly’s new music is great, the perfect Christmas party tunes. Having a No 1 with Olly and another two Top 10 songs has made us so happy.
The fans have been awesome to us and blown our minds.
And we have quite a few yummy mums into us too.
We never went out to impress an older audience, but we hope our music is accessible to everybody.
We were inspired by the old UK scene, people like Chester P, and we think our album reflects that sound.
Let’s hope we can take it around the world next.

Gary, 40, has credited his wife Dawn, a dancer on the band's 1995 tour, with his success and admits there is no quick fix when it comes to slimming.
Gary, who broke sales records with album Progress with Take That last year says: "With Dawn's support I began to tackle my weight.
"I wish I could tell you I lost it in a week on a miracle diet but I lost it in the usual way. I ate less and exercised more."

AMANDA says: "Whichever style of eating suits your man is the one to encourage him to opt for.
"It may be with a club like WeightWatchers or an online approach like Tesco's diet, both of which have special plans for men.
"Equally, a meal replacement plan such as Cambridge or a high-protein approach like Atkins may suit him best.
"If you want to do it Gary's way, by eating less and eating more healthily, it means taking a serious look at your portions and cutting out junk and alcohol."
BREAKFAST
Choose any of the following:
Two poached or fried eggs using a non-stick pan and very little oil, with a slice of toast and grilled mushrooms.
A bacon sandwich made with a rasher of lean grilled bacon and slices of tomato with two medium slices of bread and a glass of orange juice (250ml).
Bowl of porridge made with about 50g of oats and 360ml of skimmed milk plus fruit of your choice like a handful of sultanas.
Two Oatibix or Weetabix with hot or cold skimmed milk and a banana.
A medium-sized latte made with skimmed milk plus a thick slice of toast with peanut butter and an apple.
Scrambled eggs made with two eggs and a splash of milk served with a slice of toast and grilled or hot canned tomatoes.
Tub of Total zero per cent fat Greek yoghurt (170g) with 50g of sugar-free muesli and some fruit such as canned peaches in fruit juice.
LUNCH
Choose any of the following:
A shop-bought sandwich. Check the calories and choose one with no more than about 350. Fruit like an apple to follow.
A medium-size baked potato and baked beans without butter, fruit like a few satsumas to follow.
McDonald's Filet-O-Fish (350 calories) or Burger King Caesar Chicken Wrap (343 calories) or a plain burger, fruit such as a pear to follow.

Tuna and salad-filled pitta bread from a sandwich shop. Ask for tuna not tuna mayonnaise. Fruit such as a banana to follow.

Two slices of lean roast meat with lots of vegetables and a few tablespoons of new boiled potatoes. Fruit like an apple to follow.
Tortilla wrap stuffed with chicken and lots of salad. Fruit such as a peach to follow.
DINNER
400-500 calorie, healthy-eating style ready meal plus extra vegetables like broccoli you add at home.
Egg, beans and chips. Cook a 150g portion of low-fat oven chips and serve with a poached egg, an individual can of "reduced sugar and salt" baked beans plus some grilled or canned tomatoes.
Roast meal. Have about 120g of any lean roast meat like beef, pork or lamb or turkey and serve with two roast potatoes and lots of vegetables.
Spaghetti bolognese. Cook 80g of pasta and serve with about three tablespoons of bolognese sauce made from lean minced meat, minced Quorn or soya mince. Serve with extra vegetables or a big mixed salad with low-fat dressing.
Two-egg herb omelette served with a warm bread roll or a slice of bread and some vegetables such as lots of grilled mushrooms.
Pork or chicken shish kebab in a pitta with lots of extra salad made at home or from a takeaway.
Nando's-style chicken portion or home grilled chicken piece with vegetables or salad and a small baked potato.

BOTTOM, THIGH AND WAIST WOBBLES: Alternating squat with rotation. Stand with feet shoulder-width apart and hands behind head. Keeping lower back in its natural arch, squat down as low as possible, then rise back up, rotating 90 degrees to one side and pivoting on the opposite side's foot.
Squat down again and come back up rotating to the opposite side. That's one rep. Do three sets of 15 reps.
ARM FLAB: Chair dips. With back facing a chair, place hands on edge of the seat and walk feet out so knees are above toes. Slowly lower bottom towards the floor, bending elbows to about a 90-degree angle. Then press back up. Do three sets of 20 reps.
MAN BOOBS: Alternating staggered push-ups. Get into push-up position. Place one hand a few inches forward on the floor and the other a few inches back, so hands are staggered. Lower body until chest is about an inch off the floor, and then push yourself back to the starting position. That's one rep.
Switch the position of your hands, and repeat. Do three sets of 15 reps.
BEER BELLY: Reverse crunch.
Lie flat on floor facing upwards with arms out to sides, palms up, and hips and knees bent 90 degrees, calves parallel to the floor. Contract abs and curl hips up off the floor. Lower hips until calves are again parallel to the floor. That's one rep. Do three sets of 20 reps.
To enhance core strength, stability, balance and flexibility, this brief Pilates-based routine done four to five times per week will help.
Always check with the doctor before starting a new exercise regime.
PILATES PUSH-UPS
1. Get on all fours on a yoga mat.
2. Walk hands and feet out to form a long plank position. Flex feet, with ankles stretching back into heels. Straighten arms with hands placed directly below shoulders, not armpits.
Lengthen your neck and keep the back of your head in a direct line with the back of your hips.
3. Exhale and draw in on your abs, making sure your hips are in line with the rest of your body, and not sagging or elevated.
4. Inhale, and while keeping your elbows held tightly at your sides, bend your elbows to lower your body in one piece, making sure your head and neck stay in line and your stomach does not drop nearer to the floor.
5. Exhale and straighten your arms. Repeat the push-up for as many repetitions as you can complete while maintaining perfect form.
CORE CHALLENGE

1. Choose the side plank pose to call upon all the deep muscles of the core plus the obliques. Turning on to right side on mat, with forearm flat in front and elbow in line with outside of shoulder, not armpit.
2. Inhale and extend legs, with feet stacked on top of each other.
3. Exhale and raise hips and legs up to form a straight line down from head to heels. If you cannot balance in this position, soften your knees and lower your hips a bit.
4. Take deep breaths as you hold this position for up to one minute.
6. Lower hips and knees to the floor carefully, then turn on to the left side to repeat.

| Turning himself into a modern-day Bob Geldof by organising last night’s BBC Children in Need Rocks Manchester, The X Factor judge says his second coming ‘feels incredible’.
‘I guess it’s becoming older and having children myself,’ the 40-year-old said. ‘It makes you feel more responsible.’
Barlow believes making a difference now takes priority over ego and says Take That are taking a breather, too.
‘I keep reminding people that the last five years for us have been insane so after this massive tour and two years back with Rob, it’s time for a bit of time off – except for me,’ he told Metro.
As for using his platform of dominance to peddle his own music, the star said he’s only up for ‘an odd gig here or there’. A Robbie Williams-style assault on the chart is a no-go.
‘That’s all fun but actually getting serious and doing a record? No – not for me,’ he added.
This time around Gary is oblivious to the media storm he creates on The X Factor after bad headlines sent him into a binge-eating spin when Take That first split up.
‘I had great advice about six weeks ago to stop reading anything, so I have,’ said the Love Won’t Wait singer. ‘I should have learned that years ago,’ he continued. ‘It’s been a great trick.’
Now he thinks he can take the flack when it does come his way. ‘That side of it comes part and parcel if you are making great records or doing good things on TV,’ he said.
Taking credit for piecing together last night’s massive concert, which included Lady Gaga and Coldplay, Barlow says he’s ‘making a difference’ before celebrity wilderness has the chance to creep back.
‘It makes you think,’ he said. ‘People love us at the moment – I know how short these things are – but right now I can really make a difference.
‘I think I’m at least giving a little bit back for all the lovely stuff I get out of my job.’

| Gary Barlow has hit out against the sexual content of music videos and the explicit lyrics used by groups such as the Black Eyed Peas.
Gary Barlow doesn't like his kids listening to Black Eyed Peas.
The Take That frontman - who has children Daniel, 11, Emily, nine, and two-year-old Daisy with wife Dawn - doesn't like the explicit lyrics the group use and will turn off their records so the youngsters are not exposed to swear words.
He said: "Luckily, lyrics go over their heads for the most part, but I have had five nine year olds in my back seat singing along to Black Eyed Peas songs with 'F' this 'F' that and I'm like, 'Right, I'm stopping the car!'
"I don't like my kids listening to swearing. I'm the kind of parent who doesn't like his kids to learn bad language like that too early on."
Gary also hit out at the sexualisation of music, admitting he is astonished by how "rude" some promotional videos are.
He told Britain's OK! Magazine: "Music videos these days are so sexual. The other day, I wanted some music in the kitchen and put on one of the music TV channels and a video came on which as so rude that I had to turn it off because my nine year old was with me.
"Don't get me wrong, I'm not a prude but I don't think I really want my children seeing those kind of videos at that age.
"I'm a parent. I have a responsibility, but I also understand that these videos are sexual to attract people's attention but when you have young children, it's not to be promoted."

| Gary Barlow and Lady Gaga are just a few stars who will be paying tribute to Amy Winehouse in a special radio documentary about the late star’s 2006 album, ‘Back To Black’, which will be broadcast this evening (Tuesday, November 22).
While Gary Barlow compared her to The Beatles’ John Lennon, Lady Gaga had this to about Amy:
"It's interesting that celebrities sometimes get such a bad rap for being sad but in truth Amy was incredible at singing the blues – she lived the blues, she lived jazz. I believe she will be remembered as a musical legend."

| Gary Barlow and Michael Buble have lent their support to the Music Matters campaign.
The anti-piracy organisation launched in March last year with the aim to fight illegal downloads as digital formats become increasingly popular.
A number of stars voiced why music matters to them during their appearance at last week's Children in Need Rocks Manchester concert.

"It's so therapeutic for me, music," explained Barlow. "When times aren't good and you're having a bad day, I always turn to music.
"Not particularly to make music, but sometimes to listen to music. So it's always been the backdrop of my life."
Buble added: "I couldn't live without it. It's been the soundtrack to my life ever since I was a little kid and could remember.
"It's been the thing I've been most passionate about and it's fed my soul. It's kept me inspired and made me feel like I have the potential to do anything."

| The Take That star is apparently playing cupid for Chezza...

Cheryl Cole has allegedly asked pal Gary Barlow to play cupid and find her a fella.
According to Now magazine, Chezza has turned to The X Factor head judge with the hope that Barlow - who has been happily married to wife Dawn for 11 years - can find her a 'nice decent man' following her split from hubby, Ashley Cole.
A source told the publication: "Cheryl sees Gary as a big brother. They climbed Kilimanjaro for Comic Relief in 2009 and have stayed close ever since. They talk at least once a week and she's been instrumental in his X Factor success so far."
"Cheryl's hung out with Gary and Dawn a lot and she's desperate to find that level of companionship for herself. No one knows the industry like Gary and although he's settled with Dawn, he knows how hard it can be to find love if you're famous."
They continued: "He's seen the way a lot of guys operate and has told Cheryl about a few to steer well clear of. But he's also told her there are decent guys out there. She just needs a better vetting process to stop the serial cheats getting through."
Chezza has previously been linked to producer Alex Da Kid, soldier Andy Baker and Taio Cruz - who recently told MTV News that he isn't dating the gorgeous Geordie.
The insider added: "Cheryl is linked with any man she works with. Now she's ready to date and have fun, so she's looking for a nice guy."
Last week, Cole was forced to pull out of a duet with Gary at the Children in Need Rocks Manchester event after being struck with throat condition, pharyngitis.
