| GARY Barlow will play Lord of the Manor for his judges’ house round with X Factor bosses lining up a stately home.
Three properties in Oxfordshire and Northamptonshire are being sized up after Gary said he didn’t want to film abroad so he could be close to his wife and kids.
The shortlist for the two-day session includes Cornbury Park, Cornwell Manor and Boughton House.
Talking just weeks after the Barlows’ stillborn baby tragedy, a show source said: “Gary understandably doesn’t want to be too far from his family after their ordeal.
“So we’re making sure we give the wannabes a treat here in the UK.”
Robbie Williams is set to join Gary to help whittle down his Over 28s to four finalists. Gary has high hopes for his group, saying: “The category to watch is the Overs – the standard is superb.”

| X Factor 2012 judge Gary Barlow is set to film his judges’ houses section in a British stately home.
The Take That star is set to remain in the UK to be close to his wife and kids, following the death of newborn daughter Poppy two weeks ago.
The Sun reports that properties in Oxfordshire and Northamptonshire have been short listed, including Cornbury Park, Cornwell Manor and Boughton House.
“Gary understandably doesn’t want to be too far from his family after their ordeal,” a source told the newspaper today. “So we’re making sure we give the wannabes a treat here in the UK.”
Robbie Williams is rumoured to be joining Gary again to help him whittle down the acts in his category.
The judges’ houses section will air next month.

| Nicole Scherzinger has been gushing over the “brilliant” Sir Gary Barlow on The X Factor.
Speaking during filming for her judges’ houses section in Dubai, Nicole described the Take That star as a “grade A human”
“Gary is brilliant. I didn’t really know him before. I think I really liked him the day I found out he won Celebrity Dad Of The Year,” she said. “The pride he takes in his family and children — he’s a true gentleman. He’s a lovely, honest human. And he’s a great dad. All he does is talk about his family. I love that.”
Discussing Gary’s charity work, which has included everything from climbing Mount Kilimanjaro to organising charity concerts, Nicole continued: “He’s just a grade A human. It kind of sucks. He puts us all to shame.
“I thought I was something special until I came on the show. I thought the fans were waving at me but they just knocked me aside to take pictures of Gary. I was like, ‘Really? That’s what’s happening now? All right, I’ll take the picture of you with Gary’.”
And Nicole claimed: “He’s going to be knighted. It just sounds right — Sir Gary Barlow.”
It’s news to us, but we certainly wouldn’t be surprised!

| X Factor’s Gary Barlow has insisted that the groups are strong again this year.
The Take That star even said he didn’t think the judges would have to form groups at bootcamp to help boost the numbers, following the success of Little Mix last year.
The girls became the first group ever to win the show, and on Sunday scored their second number one track with Wings.
“I don’t know if we’ll have to put our own groups together this year,” Gary told the Daily Mail newspaper this month. “The standards of the ones I’ve seen so far have been surprisingly high.”
He added: “I’m very impressed and wouldn’t mind mentoring the groups this year.”
However despite Gary’s praise, we’ve yet to see a single group make it through to bootcamp on the main show.
Only duo Mia and The Moon, shown on ITV2 spin off The Xtra Factor, have been given a yes by the judges.
Let’s hope we see some of these amazing groups soon, else one judge may be left without any acts to mentor!

Halliwell displays her more eccentric side on the spinoff show, performing a reworking of Take That's 'Everything Changes' in front of Caroline Flack, Barlow and Walsh.
Singing for the trio, she says: "Louis, I know, the situation's changing. So much is new, something in our lives remains the same, oh, everything changes but you!
"We've been there from the start, we still love you! Everything changes but you, we've had so many judges but we all love you!"
When she asks for her co-stars' verdict, Walsh replies: "I think you should go solo again!"
The Xtra Factor airs on Saturday, September 8 and Sunday, September 9 on ITV2.

| Gary Barlow passes his title of head judge onto guest judge Leona Lewis this weekend!
Gary’s Head Judge status on The X Factor is challenged as auditions in London see former X Factor champion Leona Lewis join the panel.
Chatting on the Xtra Factor, Caroline asks Gary and the other judges: “Have you been giving Leona tips?”
Gary replies: “The way I feel about it is probably Leona is the most qualified Judge, she stood on the X.”
Louis quipped: “She is head judge! Your head judge today!”
Leona asks: “Can I be head Judge?”
Gary was happy to oblige, saying: “Leona- Head Judge”
The Xtra Factor airs this Saturday, September 8 at 21:10 AND Sunday, September 9 at 21:00 on ITV2.

| Oh dear, as if poor Geri Halliwell hasn’t had enough humiliation this week, now ITV are planning to show her begging for a job on this weeks X Factor!
Geri, who woke up recently to headlines showing her new, and way out of her league, boyfriend, Russell Brand, emerging from a hotel with a woman who was absolutely not her, will be shown in this week’s audition episodes, begging head judge Gary Barlow for the vacant judges job, filmed earlier this year, along with Gary’s very brutal refusal!
Fans of the hit ITV reality talent show will know how the former spice girl made her desire to be a judge on the show incredibly clear and public, only to be utterly humiliated when she was turned down for the job.
So sure was she that the job, in which she filled in as a guest judge whilst the production team were frantically trying to find anyone but her to fill it, was hers that she even released statements announcing who her celeb helper would be at the Judges houses stage of the competition.
However, as viewers will see on Saturday, her fellow judges were far less enthusiastic over the prospect, with Gary Barlow delivering a harsh refusal to the stars face!
Fans tuning in to this Saturday’s Xtra Factor will see Geri being snubbed by Gary after serenading Louis Walsh with a song she wrote for him, declaring Tulisa as her new best friend and telling Caroline Flack she has amazing eyes, according to the Sun newspaper!
Geri sings to Louis: “Louis I know, the situations changing, so much is new, something in our lives remains the same, oh everything changes but you! We’ve been there from the start, we still love you! Everything changes but you, we’ve had so many judges but we all love you…”
Before gushing about Tulisa: “I hadn’t met her, I knew I was going to like her; I’d like to be her friend.”
“She’s a nutter.” (no Geri, we all thinks that’s you!)
However, there was on person who wasn’t afraid or too cringed out to speak their minds, as Gary blasts at her after she flirts with him outrageously:
“I enjoy the attention, I mean you have got to in this job, one of the things about the other man being Louis means there’s really not much competition.”
But Louis jibes back: “Gary does get a lot of attention from women, it’s like the Tom Jones thing – they are all of a certain age.”
We just hope that she is spared the humiliation by Russell taking her out on Saturday to avoid the telly box! If he hasn’t got a date planned that is!

| Gary Barlow may be happily married with three children, but that doesn’t mean that he doesn’t notice any other attractive women.
The Take That star reportedly went a little bit red of face when he first met 21-year-old page 3 girl Emily O’Hara recently, when she tried out for the X Factor in Liverpool.
The busty beauty will be featured on tomorrow night’s episode of the ITV show and insiders claim that Gaz blushed quite a lot when he first laid eyes on her and asked what she does for a living.
“Gary looked very pleased to see her — maybe he recognised her from The Sun,” a source told The Sun, adding:
“It was obvious he thought Emily was hot — she came on looking absolutely gorgeous.”
Emily was said to be just as impressed by the handsome singer, which came as no surprise to Tulisa Contostavlos.
She revealed that loads of the female contestants are hot for the DILF on this year’s series of the talent show and told Caroline Flack on The Xtra Factor:
“Gary gets loads of attention from the women! Sometimes I am a bit like ‘come on girls, ease up’, they are very touchy feely! They really really go for him! And get as much physical contact within that three second hug that they can.”
“Gary very much plays the cool dude and all the women swoon and say ‘oh he’s so mysterious’ – he’s not mysterious – I know you Gary!”
Barlow didn’t even deny Tulisa’s claims and chuckled:
“It’s all good fun! I enjoy the attention, I mean you have got to in this job, one of the things about the other man being Louis means there’s really not much competition.”
Ohhh miaow!
Louis agreed with Contostavlos but did cast aspersions on the type of women who find Gary attractive, saying:
“Even though Gary is very happily married, he does love the attention. Gary does get a lot of attention from women, it’s like the Tom Jones thing – they are all of a certain age…”

| Cheryl Cole is making a sensational return to the UK X Factor.
The Girls Aloud star, who was axed from the US version of the show and fell out with Simon Cowell, is joining judge Gary Barlow at his judges' houses stage.
The decision to return to the show marks a U-turn from Cheryl, 29, who has previously said the show was "in her past".
It is also set to be a ratings winner for Cowell and will delight her fans.
A show source said: "Cheryl was loved by X Factor viewers and they will be delighted she has agreed to join Gary to help pick his finalists.
"She won the show with Joe McElderry and knows exactly what Gary needs to look for.
"It's a very exciting addition to the show and could pave the way for her to come back more permanently if she wants to."
Cheryl's return is said to have been orchestrated by Gary and NOT Cowell, who flew into the UK this week to give the struggling show a makeover.
She is close to Barlow, having sung with him at the recent Jubilee concert.
Filming of the judges houses stage begins today and is believed to be taking place at a countryside retreat.

| Geri Halliwell was not a popular X Factor guest judge the first time around, so we’re not sure why Simon Cowell asked her to come back this year….but he did and on tonight’s episode viewers will be treated to more scenes with the former Spice Girl trying to grab as much camera time as possible.
The mum of one stepped in to replace Kelly Rowland when the tryouts hit Liverpool earlier this year and on this evening’s show she makes her first appearance as a girl group named The It Girls take to the stage.
Predictably, the wannabes sing one of Geri’s own songs – Stop! – and when she heard what track they have chosen, the chirpy star exclaimed:
“Oh my god I’m so excited! I might have to join in naturally.”
We honestly doubt that she was really that psyched but if she had been, then we are sure the excitement had left once she heard what the hopefuls did to the tune…..not that you could recognise much of if.
Trying to be kind – or at least less harsh than her bandmate Mel B was in Manchester – Geri stammered:
“Ok, you’ve definitely got potential.”
Thankfully Gary Barlow was on hand to set the record straight and insisted:
“There’s barely a voice amongst you actually.”
But Halliwell just wouldn’t let it go and she decided to interrupt the dad of three, to slag his record breaking, best selling band Take That. She insisted:
“Not everybody in Take That could sing, sorry, I’m just being honest.”
Thankfully Louis Walsh (and it’s not often we are grateful for his presence) hit back, reminding Geri:
“Hey, not everybody in The Spice Girls could sing.”
But she was like a dog with a bone and continued:
“Gary, when I first started I could not sing, I can sing now. Two of your members could not sing.”
Barlow didn’t take the criticism well and obviously not wanting to publicly offend Jason Orange and Howard Donald, he blasted:
“Geri, don’t even go there!”
Louis weighed in, adding:
“Geri you had five!”

| X Factor guest judge Geri Halliwell takes a swipe at Take That in tonight’s show, as she and Gary Barlow clash.
At the top of the show as Geri joins the panel, Gary insists: “No it wasn’t rivalry because we made the blueprint and then they [the Spice Girls] copied it.”
Tension between Geri and Gary increased when the duo argued over a girl group.
The It Girls performed Stop by the Spice Girls, with Geri remarking: “Oh my god I’m so excited! I might have to join in naturally.”
She added after the performance: “Ok, you’ve definitely got potential.”
But Gary blasts: “There’s barely a voice amongst you actually.”
However Geri hits back: “Can I just…sorry to interrupt… Not everybody in Take That could sing, sorry, I’m just being honest.
