Simon Cowell, who is Susan Boyle's manager, has just disclosed to Sky News that he Britain’s got talent runner up is in fact not in the Priory Clinic. But is in a safe house in Gloucestershire were she has just agreed to headline with Fleetwood Mac on her upcoming UK tour.

Simon Cowell added that Mick Fleetwood had made the approach because he sees Susan as an ideal candidate to compliment Stevie Nicks and Christine Mcvie.

Fleetwood Mac is such a unique band. With 3 different lead singers sharing the spotlight, so Susan will be a truly fantastic addition, she will add so many flavours and textures to their music.

He stated that he has spoken to Gary Barlow, Elton John, and Paul Simon and that each has agreed to write one or two songs for Susan's upcoming first album tentatively titled, "Susan Boyle – All The “Rumours” Are True."

Simon Cowell has stated that he has chosen two of the songs that Miss Boyle will be recording for her album and the songs are both old Fleetwood Mac songs “Gold Dust Woman” and “You Make Loving Fun.”

Barlow's Got Talent

The Britain’s Got Talent juggernaut finally came to an end on Saturday evening with Diversity getting a surprise victory. They had tough competition from global singing sensation Susan Boyle and a man who plays lift music on a saxophone. Diversity where worthy winners, but there was one man sitting in his country mansion who was less than impressed. Gary Barlow of Take That and mountain climbing fame had been following the competition closely. The trouble is that when you’re as talented as Mr Barlow, everyone else seems very amateur.

When And & Dec announced Diversity as the winners, Mr Barlow sat back in his throne and sarcastically clapped, “well done Diversity, you where great but me and the lads could of done that blindfolded,” he sniped. While Mr Barlow liked the premise of the show, he was not impressed with the talent served up. It was at this point that Mr Barlow though he’d take action and enter himself in next years show; in fact he’d create his own show to showcase all his talents, Barlow’s Got Talent.

Barlow’s Got Talent (or BGT) will be exactly the same format as Britain’s Got Talent (or BGT), but the twist is you have to be Gary Barlow to take part. Mr Barlow will showcase his wonderful singing, dancing, juggling (with watermelons), saxophone playing, singing like a small girl and then crying, Greek dancing, dog walking (complete with tap dance) and lifting heavy machinery with his ear lobes under the guise of his alter ego Danger Gary. Bookmakers have already made Greek dancing Barlow favourite to win the competition.

It’s going to be a huge hit and is sure to be syndicated throughout the world. Bono has already put his name forward as being the sole participant in Ireland’s version, Bono’s Got Talent (or BGT).

Take That member Gary Barlow was seen wearing New Balance footwear while training for a charity climb up Mount Kilimanjaro earlier this year and Major Phil Packer, the injured soldier who completed this year’s London marathon on crutches over 13 days, chose the brand.

AUDIO: Gary Barlow on Take That's Sunderland gig

http://video.jpress.co.uk/editorial/SEJJ/garybarlow.mp3

"LOOK out Sunderland, here we come!" That's the message from Take That's Gary Barlow.
He says he is just as excited at starting the band's biggest ever tour at the Stadium of Light next June as his fans are.

"I've never been to Sunderland before so we can't wait to meet everyone," he said.

"We always seem to have had a bit of a thing about kick-starting tours in the North East, the region seems to have been a bit of a lucky charm for us.

"The first tour we did back in the 90s started at Newcastle City Hall and our comeback tour started at the Metro Arena in Newcastle.

"The crowd up there are just great. Often on the first night of tours you're a bit nervous but the crowd calms you down so we're all for starting up there."

And Gary is hoping that rival football fans will put their differences aside to come and see them in action at the Stadium of Light on June 6.

He said: "This is a music event so I hope people who don't support Sunderland AFC still come."

>> READ the full interview with Gary Barlow in The Guide on Thursday, November 6

On Tuesday, Take That - Gary, Jason Orange, Howard Donald and Mark Owen - announced they are hitting the road next year.

And when we told Gary that devoted superfan Tanya Kane, 26, of Winlaton, had already set up camp outside the Stadium on Tuesday in a bid to get her hands on tickets, he said it "warmed his heart".

"Our fans have always followed us with devotion and have not tired at all. They are still as enthusiastic as ever and we are always enthused by this.

"We're so proud of our audience and there's always a great crowd at our gigs. I'm always so grateful to these fans and stories like this warm my heart.

"We never in a million years could of predicted the success the second time round," Gary said. "We've always tried to put 110per cent into everything we've done and that has obviously paid off."

After another night in the freezing cold, Tanya Kane today said she was determined to stay put despite warnings of snow.

"We had a very nice night's sleep last night actually – I've made a friend, Diane, and we've been keeping each other warm," she said.

Diane Wilson, 41, who works for social services, moved in to Tanya's tent after the pair made friends over their love of the boy band.
Despite living just stones' throw away in Monkwearmouth, die-hard fan Dianne – who has seen the band 31 times – said she just had to camp out to make sure she got a ticket to see the group play in Sunderland.

"You do what you've got to do for Take That," she said.

The mum – who met Take That when they played in Newcastle last year – cut her holiday to London short to come back and start queuing for tickets.

But she said her family understood how much she loved the group – especially her 11-year-old son Gary – named after singer Gary Barlow.

The row of tents has pitched up outside the Stadium of Light has now increased as more and more fans become determined to secure their place at what will be the gig of a life time.

Claire Hudson, 27, who works for Unipart Auto Motors in Sunderland, has been camping out and going to work from her tent.

"I've been doing tag-team with my friend, she's coming to stay while I go to work," she said.

Kirsty Pennock, 18, from Downhill and Liam Waddle, 13, from Town End Farm, are too young to remember much of Take That when they were first in the charts.

"Apparently I've seen Take That before but I was too little to remember," said Kirsty.

"I've got tickets for the Oasis gig as well – my friend camped out and got me one so I'm getting her a ticket for Take That."

* Take That will be playing at the Stadium of Light on June 6, just four days before Oasis take to the same stage.

Their latest album, The Circus, hits record stores on December 1.

Read next week's Guide for more from Gary.

Scary Barlow

TAKE THAT GARY TERRIFIED OF BALLET PUMPS

Celebrities are delicate creatures, often prone to peculiar phobias - but the one with the weirdest fear of all is Take That's Gary Barlow.

While Madonna is freaked out by storms, Heidi Klum is plane terrified of flying, Orlando Bloom has a pig phobia and Rupert Grint is scared of spiders, Gary has a thing about... ballet pumps.

Yes, at 37 years of age Gary has developed an unhealthy aversion to the flat footwear - and banned people from wearing them backstage during the band's Circus tour.

He saw one performer wandering around in the pumps - Amy Winehouse's shoe of choice - and put his foot down.

Says our mole: "Gary can't stand the sight of ballet pumps. It may sound odd but he cannot bear them.

"He thinks they're incredibly unflattering. In his eyes, even the most attractive woman in the world would be pug ugly if she was wearing pumps.

"At one of their recent after-show parties, a dancer was kicking back in some pastel ballet pumps, and Gary had to leave the room.

"His wife Dawn owns a pair and Gary jokes that he'll divorce her if she buys any more. And he can't be seen with her when she does wear them.

Advertisement - article continues below »

"All 230-odd cast and crew have been told to stick to trainers or heels when not on stage.

"The other lads find it hilarious and keep taking the mick, but Gary is adamant: dump the pump."

And he isn't the only member of Take That who likes things just so backstage.

The manband - currently in Cardiff on the Welsh leg of their sell-out tour - have a masseuse to ease any aches and pains, and soothing ice baths on tap. They also insist on herbal supplements and throat lozenges to keep their voices in fine tune.

Still, all the pampering is clearly working. Their critically-acclaimed £10million UK stadium dates have even put Britney's ongoing tour of the same name, to shame.

While Ms Spears lip-syncs most of her tracks, Take That belt out live vocals to every single one of their tunes - often while 20ft in the air perched on ladders, or balancing on unicycles.

Clearly they are the true Circus masters.

Royal the world

GARY BARLOW has great form when it comes to organising live shows.

TAKE THAT’s ongoing Circus stadium tour is one of the greatest spectacles I’ve seen in an outdoor arena.

So I am delighted to report that the Rule The World chart-topper is plotting a one-off extravaganza at London’s Royal Albert Hall.

And he’s roping in some top-notch talent to make it go with a bang. CHRIS MARTIN and LEONA LEWIS have signed up for the show, which will be in October. Gaz and his band mates will do a turn too.

And best pal PETER KAY has agreed to compere the event.

All the profits will go to Children In Need, a cause close to Gaz’s heart.

Last year the dad of three trekked up Mount Kilimanjaro alongside ALESHA DIXON, CHERYL COLE and other celebs to raise cash for Comic Relief.

A source told me: “Gary has really been bitten by the fundraising bug. He was amazed by people’s generosity during his Kili climb.

"As soon as he got off the mountain he made the decision to lend his support to more charities.

“Children In Need bosses have discussed a number of ideas with him but Gary thought it would be a good idea if he could put his musical skills to their best use.

“He knows a lot of people and is widely respected so putting together a star bill has been plain-sailing.

Surprises

“Take That are going to perform and there will be a whole host of surprises throughout the evening. It’s shaping up to be a very special night.”

The show will be filmed and released on DVD late this year.

It’s interesting timing. A certain former band mate of Gary’s will begin his comeback around then.

ROBBIE WILLIAMS’ new album is expected in early 2010, if he gets back from his fun and games in the Bahamas in time.

And a star turn at Gary’s gig would be just the thing to get his juices flowing.

You did the Kilimanjaro climb, which celeb did you most want to punch on the way?
None of them. They were all lovely. Gary [Barlow] hand-picked the team and he did a great job. All the personalities seemed to work quite well.

Kate Bush song 'saves' Gary Barlow

Take That star Gary Barlow has revealed how Kate Bush rescued him from a low point in his life. Skip related content

The man band songwriter reckoned the song Don't Give Up by Bush and Peter Gabriel was his most inspirational track after he chose it for a new book.

Gary said of the track: "I don't think you can listen to this song without feeling inspired, it could save anybody - the lyrics are so inspirational."

He and the band chose the song for a charity book, Inspired* By Music, which goes on sale on Friday and features choices by figures such as Al Pacino, Kevin Spacey and Sharon Osbourne. It raises money for The Princes Trust.

Gary added: "Specifically I was having a very low moment in the 1990s and the song came on the radio. There have only been a very few times when I've had to pull the car over to listen to a song - this was one of them."

However the choice wasn't unanimous. Howard Donald said: "It was a majority decision and I got out-voted. I would have chosen Someone Saved My Life Tonight by Elton John.

"Saying that, I really like the song and can see why it inspired Gary. If you're going through a low point in your life it's a beautiful song to sing."

Award-winning photographer Cambridge Jones took portraits of the stars who have contributed to the book, which has been sponsored by Starbucks and will be sold by the coffee firm, as well as by bookshops.

Gary Barlow proves he's Take That's cheeky chap
04/07/2009

We always thought Robbie Williams was Take That's cheeky chap but Gary Barlow may be the real wit.

Picking up the main Silver Clef award for the band, he said: "Don't be playing Angels before I go up to collect this award."

Doting dad Gary Barlow takes family to LA for holiday after 'emotional' final Circus show
By Chris Johnson
Last updated at 9:18 AM on 09th July 2009

After completing the run of gigs with Take That, Gary Barlow took some time to play the family man as he arrived in Los Angeles.

The father-of-three was spotted with his brood at LAX airport yesterday, cradling his most recent addition, seven-month-old Daisy.
He was also accompanied by his wife Dawn and their other two other children Daniel, eight, and Emily, seven.

Daddy's girl: Gary Barlow cradles his seven-month-old daughter Daisy at LAX airport in Los Angeles where he was seen with his family yesterday

The 38-year-old pop star is probably looking forward to some time out after the UK tour with the Manchester band.
But fans who didn't get to see the chart-topping group this time around need not worry as Gary says the Circus gigs will hopefully not be their last.
They decided not to take the stage show to Europe, on account of it being too expensive.
But he recently told the Radio 1 Chris Moyles Show: 'We want to do some more, we want to go back out again. We'll come at it fresh next time and see where we go.'

All together: Gary and Daisy bring up the rear with Dawn in front and Daniel and Emily striding out ahead

And of the last show at Wembley Stadium on Sunday, he added: 'It was an emotional night for us - this isn't the end.'
Take That are also celebrating after winning their second Silver Clef Award, a coup for the four-piece act as The Beatles and Rolling Stones have only ever won one.
The boy band got their first gong at the annual awards lunch staged in aid of the Nordoff Robbins charity back in 1995, not long before Robbie Williams quit the group.

On hearing they had won a second Silver Clef award, Gary Barlow announced that he and his colleagues would make a £50,000 donation to the Music Therapy charity.

For their latest tour, fans shelled out a staggering £50million on tickets.
Take That's 'Circus' is the most successful comeback album of recent times, selling one million copies within 19 days of its release in December last year.
And since Michael Jackson's sudden death two weeks ago, Take That have reclaimed their record as the fastest-selling concert in Britain.

Gary Barlow Live at the Royal Albert Hall for BBC Children in Need

Date: 09.07.2009

Every year, BBC Children in Need creates magic moments that raise huge amounts of money for disadvantaged children but this year's appeal week will kick off with something a little different for BBC One audiences to enjoy.

Jay Hunt, Controller of BBC One, revealed today at this year's autumn season launch – www.bbc.co.uk/bbconeautumn – that BBC Children in Need will stage a spectacular concert at the Royal Albert Hall put together by Gary Barlow, featuring Take That and a host of rock and pop's finest to launch the 2009 appeal week.

The full line-up of performers and ticket details will be revealed in the autumn.

All profits from the tickets and sales of recordings will go to BBC Children In Need.

"It's fantastic to be able to kick off BBC Children in Need 2009 in such a special way," said Gary Barlow.

"I've always wanted to do something like this and I can promise a night to remember, a night that will, I hope, play a small part in changing the lives of disadvantaged children across the UK."

Jay Hunt said: "This year the very best of British musicians, led by Gary Barlow, will stage a spectacular night at the Albert Hall in aid of BBC Children in Need.

"We're thrilled to be working with Gary Barlow on this brand new addition to the Children in Need programming for BBC One."

Children in Need CEO, David Ramsden, said: "We are so excited. It's going to be a brilliant night and will help us make a difference to lots of young lives."

In 2008, the BBC Children in Need Appeal raised more than £36million thanks to the generosity of the public and the enthusiasm of fundraisers, schools and businesses across the UK.

For every penny BBC Children in Need receives from the public, a penny will go to a project helping to change the lives of disadvantaged children and young people in the UK.

Notes to Editors
The BBC Children in Need Appeal is a charity, registered in England and Wales (802052) and Scotland (SC039557), whose aim is to make a positive change to the lives of disadvantaged children and young people across the UK.

The theme of this year's appeal is "Do Something Different", and in the weeks leading up to the televised appeal on 20 November, Pudsey is asking everyone to take up the challenge, get creative and Do Something Different to help raise money for disadvantaged children and young people who need our support.

STRICTLY Come Dancing bosses unveiled their sexy new line-up yesterday as they prepare to take on Simon Cowell in the ratings.

It is out with old and in with the hot newbie as sex kitten Alesha Dixon takes over from Arlene Phillips on the judging panel.

She will be joined by ballet beauty Darcey Bussell who will be a special guest judge for a string of shows in the build-up to the grand final.

Bosses believe the babes will bring a fresh young audience to the dance show and steal viewers from 49-year-old Cowell’s ratings hit The X Factor.

Alesha, 30, who won Strictly in 2007, said: “I’m honoured and excited to be joining the judging panel.”

Darcey, 40, added: “I am looking forward to getting to know the dancers and being part of the excitement.”

Dumped judge Arlene, 66, will make her debut on The One Show, presented by Christine Bleakley, 28, and Adrian Chiles, 42, later this year.

She said: “I am delighted to be part of The One Show but will miss Strictly. It has been a big part of my life for six years.”

The BBC also confirmed at its autumn launch yesterday that Take That star Gary Barlow, 38, will lead a huge celeb-packed concert at the Royal Albert Hall for Children In Need.

Gary said: “I’ve always wanted to do something like this and I can promise a night to remember, a night that will, I hope, play a small part in changing the lives of disadvantaged children across the UK.”

David Tennant, 38, will return as Doctor Who in The Waters Of Mars, the second of four specials being screened on BBC1 this year.

He will have to take on new enemies including a blood sucking monster.

To top off the launch, Danniella Westbrook, 35, is making a big return to Albert Square as Sam Mitchell.

How Gary Ruled The World

GARY BARLOW's undoubtedly inspired many a songwriter.

But the TAKE THAT frontman has revealed in a new book the record which changed his life - Don't Give Up by PETER GABRIEL and KATE BUSH."

He said: "I was having a very low moment in the 1990s and this song came on the radio.

Mark Ronson's Prince's Trust

"There have only been a very few times when I've had to pull the car over to listen to a song - this was one of them.

"I don't think you can listen to the song without feeling inspiring, it could save anybody. The lyrics are so inspirational."

Inspired* by music, launched by youth charity The Prince's Trust, features a collection of stories from famous faces telling of the tracks which have made the most impact on their lives.

MARK RONSON recalls how Fools Gold by THE STONE ROSES shaped his success, while LEMAR desribes how he was influenced by ERIC CLAPTON's Tears In Heaven.

But, perhaps the most unlikely revelation was by rapper DJ IRONIK.

The Tiny Dancer hitmaker chose a little-known WESTLIFE album track - Written In The Stars.

He said: "It's not normally the type of music I listen too but I was so inspired by the lyrics.

"I wrote my own words over the sample of the song and it was my first big hit, Stay With Me, which got me where I am today.

He added: "If I ever met the Westlife boys I don't know what I'd do to them.

"I owe them everthing."

Из интервью с Майки из Бойзон
So what made the five Irish pop stars want to go back to a life of gruelling tour schedules?

"My wife is a good friend of Gary Barlow's wife and I got to know them well through the years apart from Boyzone. I didn't miss being apart from the band but when I saw Take That's show I thought, 'I could do with a bit of this again'. I put in some calls to the other lads. Quite a few groups from the nineties have tried it but only some have been successful. I was nervous about it because if it fell on its backside, whatever reputation we still had as being one of the top pop bands of the nineties could have been destroyed. All people would have remembered would be the reunion flop. Thank God everything is ok.

Myleene Klass might be a big hit in the States, but she hasn't forgotten her chums from good ol' Blighty.

Earlier this week she met Gary Barlow for lunch at The Ivy in LA and gave him goodies from her Baby K range for his daughter.

Then last night she dined with TV's Piers Morgan. We presume they ate fish 'n' chips in their exclusive expat club.

The Aussies resumed at 196/4, Clarke (34) and North (10) not wasting any time achieving their 50 partnership and Australia’s 200. Clarkey soon had his fifty in the sixth over; the 100 partnership and team 250 by the tenth, and the crowd were silent. The guys next to us from the Midlands said they’d be quite happy with a declaration by tea time as North racked up his 50 and Australia’s 300 in the 25th over, 72nd overall. Milestones dropped quicker than our odds of retaining the Ashes, the Clarke/North partnership reaching 150 off 251 balls. Clarke looked set for another hundred but fell on 93, LBW by Onions ten minutes before lunch. 29 overs bowled in the session, Australia 306/5.

The little league certainly brought the Western Stand to life; indeed it was ‘kicking off’ as one wag suggested as more and more boxes of four pints each were brought up into the stands as everyone panic bought to beat the mandatory one hour bar closure ‘some time between lunch and tea’. Copped a couple of ‘Go Blues’ from Aussies out the back on account of the Geelong jumper, all deserved though.

The new ball paid off immediately for the Poms, Haddin had no answer to the rising ball from Harmie, caught Ian Bell for 14. The joy was tempered when word got round the bar was now closed for an hour and a HALF(!) ‘You’re joking!’ went the cry from Aussies who remembered that Toohey’s ad from years back, ‘afraid not lad’ was the reply. The response was for a semi-spontaneous rendition of ‘Neighbours’, and the banter was officially on.

We had no answer for ‘Sand up… if you’re 1-Nil up’ but attention was soon turned to the poor old ‘Green Team’, whose job apparently includes deflating beach balls. ‘Geeeet a propeeer job; get-a-proper-job’ is all I can print. When some Aussies in the AST group fired up they were treated to a rousing rendition of ‘Especially for you’. Just let them bait the stewards I thought! And so it was on again; the new steward on the boundary line apparently looking like Gary Barlow from ‘Take That’, so he was treated to various chants such as ‘There’s only one Gary Barlow’, ‘He’s the fat Gary Barlow’ ‘Sing us a song if you’re Gary Barlow’ etc.
