The latest rumours from the BBC are coming in. After the scenario of Elton John been approached by the British national broadcaster, it seems that the already contracted Gary Barlow (Take That) is in discussions with the Eurovision team for potential composition of the 2010 Eurovision entry, following the successful recipe of famous authors composing for the UK.

Been in serious financial trouble as well, BBC is also not eager to pay the amount of money Elton John would love to get for such a project, the solution of having Gary Barlow as the author of the 2010 entry seems now more possible. Gary Barlow enjoys success again after the recent Take That reunion. What will happen? We will find out soon.

Faryl Smith was given some words of advice by one of the top men in showbiz, Gary Barlow, while she recorded her second album.
The 14-year-old record-breaking singer has just put the finishing touches to her second album, Wonderland, which music bosses are hoping will be even more successful than her first self-titled album.

While recording at Sarm Studios in Notting Hill, she met Take That star Gary Barlow, who told her to listen to her parents.

Dad Tony Smith said: "Gary told her she was fantastic and said we must be so proud of her. He told her to continue what she's doing and she will go far, even though it's a tough business.

"He was full of compliments for her and he wished her all the best – it was a bit special."

Faryl is now back at Southfield School for Girls at Kettering before embarking on a promotional tour at the end of the month. She will once again be featuring on television and radio shows and magazine shoots.

The teenager became the fastest-selling debut classical artist of all time when her debut album was released in March and her new album again features Kettering's Masquerade Choir.

It is due for release on November 30 and will include an adaptation of Somewhere Far Away, Wonderland and a special version of O Holy Night.

Mr Smith said bosses at Universal Music are hoping it will sell even more copies than the first.

He said: "The album is fantastic. There's a lot of different styles of music and everyone at the record company is very excited about it.

"They are hoping it will sell more than the first but it's a tough market. Lots of people bring out albums at Christmas.

"We don't know if she will be going back to America – it would be nice if she went global, but she's 14 and we want to take things as they come.

"When she goes back to school, it's like a fish returning to water. She can switch off when she's back home."

On Saturday, Faryl will perform with fellow reality television star Jonathan Ansell, from the pop opera group G4 who found fame on The X Factor.

They will sing at Victoria Hall in Stoke.

In November, Faryl is going to the Canary Islands to sing on a cruise ship.

Faryl was also spotted hobnobbing with the polo elite at the Duke of Essex polo trophy event at the Gaynes Park Estate in Essex. She was pictured at the event with glamour model Katie Price and briefly appeared on the star's ITV2 show What Katie Did Next.

But singer Gary Barlow is still a down-to-earth lad at heart.

The Take That frontman has invited 100 pals to celebrate his 10th wedding anniversary with dancing, bingo and a slap-up meal... of fish and chips.

Gary and wife Dawn, who have one of the most solid marriages in show business, are throwing a £250,000 party at the swanky Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Knightsbridge, London. Guests, who are thought to include Gary's bandmates Mark, Howard and Jason and old pal Robbie Williams, have been told the dress code is "glamorous".

But the food will be anything but, laid on by famous fish and chip chain Harry Ramsden's.

An insider said: "There will be oodles of the finest champagne, of course. And the venue is very swish. But Gary and Dawn are everyday folk at heart. They didn't want daft French scoff.

"Who needs it when you can have fish, chips and a good dollop of mushy peas?" She added: "Even the invites are typical of them. There's a bottle of champagne with bingo balls bursting out of the top.

"They might be worth a fortune but they know how to have a good time.

"And although they've been married for 10 years, they're still madly in love."

Gary, 38, met former backing dancer Dawn, 39, when she worked with Take That as they found fame the first time round.

He proposed with a £10,000 ring after a four-year romance and they wed on the Caribbean island of Nevis in 2000.

The couple, who live in London, have three children - Daniel, nine, Emily, seven, and nine-monthold Daisy.

GARY Barlow reckons more artists will launch their own record labels after he and Amy Winehouse took on the big guns.

Gaz, whose Children In Need bash will take place at London’s Royal Albert Hall on Thursday, has classical babe Camilla Kerslake on his Future label.

And Wino, 26, signed her goddaughter Dionne Bromfield, 13, to her Lioness set-up.

Gary told me: “You’re going to see more singers start record companies, like me and Amy have.

“It’s a way to get new artists some guaranteed exposure.”

While he’s so busy, Gary won’t be going wild by signing up hundreds of acts.

He explained: “I’m not looking to sign anyone other than Camilla right now.

At most, I’ll work with one artist every other year in Take That downtime.

“I want to be there for whenever she needs advice.”

Camilla, 21, whose album is out on November 23, has been teaching Gary about the workings of the classical world.

He admitted: “She’s really opened my eyes, particularly to the production levels involved.

“In this day and age a lot of No 1 singles are made in people’s bedrooms.

"That’s great but one of the nice things about classical music is you need to take that bit of care on it – you can’t really make it on the cheap. It’s very luxurious.

“I’ve started buying a few classical albums for pretty much the first time.”

The classy 38-year-old denied rumours that his band will be performing at Glasto 2010.

Gary said: “There’s no truth in us playing Glastonbury – we prefer to do our own shows.

“I don’t see us being part of that festival scene, it’s just not us.”

Lydon said: "When we started, I thought, 'Are we in the worst pit end of the universe?'. And then, standing there, was Mr Whatsisname from Take That!

The pair belted out Take That's Back For Good at Ronan's Emerald and Ivy Ball in Battersea, South London, on Saturday. The starry bash raised £650,000 for Cancer Research UK.

The Take That legend is in talks with the BBC to compose the UK song - with Duncan James tipped to perform it.

The ex-Beatle told his official website that the songwriters got together when Barlow asked him to perform at the recent Children In Need gig at London's Royal Albert Hall.

McCartney said: "He asked me to do the show so I said, 'Yeah okay I'll do it'. So he showed up at my office to talk about it all and I gave him some sweetcorn and he loved it, he went mad for it."

Barlow interjected: "Amazing sweetcorn, it was like I'd never eaten it before."

McCartney said of last week's concert: "It's such a great bill and people are doing it for all the right reasons. There's a great feeling backstage."

Barlow and McCartney joined Robbie Williams and the other performers from the night for an all-star rendition of The Beatles' 'Hey Jude'.
