Беверли Найт о ТТ
TAKE That are a bunch of divas.

Well, according to pal Beverley Knight anyway.

After touring with them, the RnB star, 38, told us: “They are divas and really high maintenance.

“They stay to the bitter end at a party too.

“And they do disagree on things. If everyone is saying A is the right answer then Jason Orange will say it’s B.”

prodigal son, Robbie Williams

ну-ну)))

Quote
Things reached a head in June of that year when Robbie went on a bender at the Glastonbury Festival and met Oasis. He joined the band on stage, got drunk with them, and in one debauched weekend, utterly destroyed his wholesome, pretty-boy image. Take That, as a fivesome, could never be the same again – and three weeks later, Robbie had walked out

так и знала, что от Оазиса одно зло)))

The usually mild-mannered Gary spat back his description of his former bandmate as “an absolute f****** c***”.

вот так сейчас представишь себе ругающегося Гари...)

and Gary, ever the romantic, wasn’t averse to the idea. He knew it would take time and patience to persuade the other sceptical members of the group, but believed he was up to the task of getting them on board

все-таки Гари всех убеждла в итоге?

While Mark was always close to Robbie and immediately embraced the idea, Jason and Howard were more cautious

В общем-то, ничего нового) но просмотреть было интересно)

Fans have reacted angrily to the news that Take That are set to release a new mini-album, claiming they are being ripped-off.

The band will release eight brand new songs as part of a double disc album called ‘Progressed' on June 13th. The first discs contains their number one album ‘Progress', the second the new tracks.

Followers of the band have hit back at what they see as an obvious cash-in. If they bought ‘Progress' when it was first released in November, they will have to buy it a second time to hear the new songs. The new tracks cannot be bought separately.

The cover art for the new album also looks familiar; it's the same as ‘Progress' but with a red background.

Clare Morrell, from Nottingham, expressed her disappointment, saying: "As much as I love getting new music from them, I wish people wouldn't do this. Having to buy it twice is so annoying. Why not just release a new album/EP on its own if they have so much extra material?"

Similarly, Rich Wright posed the question: "Why not release the mini album separately, so people who bought the original wouldn't have to stump up for the same tracks again? Oh sorry, I forgot.. £££££££££ (sic)".

‘Progressed' will be released mid-way through Take That's record breaking ‘Progress Live Tour', which will see them play to over 1.6 million people across the UK. This will include a mammoth eight nights at Wembley Stadium that will break Michael Jackson's previous record for the ‘Bad Tour' in 1988.

Gary Barlow recently revealed that Robbie Williams has been writing new material with the band, fueling speculation that he could remain with the group for longer than previously thought.

ROBBIE WILLIAMS' Take That bandmates will become his BACKING singers as the star belts out his solo hits during the group's reunion tour.

The lads' willingness to step back and support him seems to prove they are finally at peace with his meteoric individual stardom.

A source said last night: "The guys agreeing to sing backing to Robbie's classics throughout the shows really is significant - all the hard feelings have been put behind them.

"At first he was to go it alone for a mid-set medley but they agreed they all needed to perform on the songs, even if it is just backing harmonies.

"They are not solo artists. They are Take That."

GARY BARLOW, HOWARD DONALD, MARK OWEN and JASON ORANGE have been deep in rehearsals working out their backing vocals and harmonies for Robbie's solo tunes.

They will join him on tunes including Rock DJ, Angels and Let Me Entertain You during the tour which kicks off next Friday in Sunderland.

Meanwhile, all five singers have been perfecting their routines for Take That classics such as Back For Good.

The source added: "Spirits are high and the fans are in for an eye-watering stage spectacle. This really will be the group's finest hour."

Final rehearsals for the tour - the group's first as a five-piece since 1995 - are taking place in an aircraft hangar in Cardington, Beds.

Robbie, 37, has brought goals with him to rehearsals for impromptu five-a-side games. The source said: "He used to drink during rehearsals to relax. Now he plays footb

I'm deeply apologize, но не смогла удержаться сегодняшнее интервью о вчерашнем концерте

Robo pop

Stunning first night of Take That
Progress tour features 60ft man

TAKE THAT kicked off their record-breaking new tour in spectacular style last night - promising fans "the best show in the world".
And going by the sound of 54,000 people screaming before, during and after the gig, the most popular band in the country have delivered the goods yet again.
ROBBIE WILLIAMS, 38, joined his old bandmates on stage for a full set for the first time in 15 years at the Stadium of Light in Sunderland.
And the roar must have been heard for miles around when he took to the stage five songs into the first night of the sold out Progress Tour.
Choking back tears of pride, he said: "We have spent a lot of time and money on this show to make it the best in the world this year. And I'm very proud to be a part of it all again."
GARY BARLOW, 40, MARK OWEN, 38, JASON ORANGE, 40 and HOWARD DONALD, 42, set the bar extremely high two years ago with their epic Circus show.
Progress is not as good, folks... it is even better.
The last time they hit the road they had a gigantic mechanical elephant as the centrepiece of the production. And the lads have taken another step up in scale since then - introducing a giant 60ft mechanical man.
It is a staggering piece of kit, and a real symbol of the band's huge ambitions with this show.
The 1.75 million fans lucky enough to snap up a ticket to see them this summer are in for an incredible night.
No expense has been spared in the £15m production. It has everything - the greatest hits, a jaw-dropping set, amazing costumes, intricate choreography, stunning pyrotechnics and even a lesbian kiss for any reluctant husbands dragged along.
Splashing out ... the lavish show features acrobats on a huge wall of water
All the blokes who go along will be impressed by some of the death-defying stunts too. When I bumped into Gary afterwards, he joked: "Robbie has become the LEE MAJORS of this show. If any stunts need doing, dangling upside down or throwing himself from a great height - Rob's the man."
It's not often you see acrobats in wetsuits scaling an amazing wall of water the length and height of the stage. In fact, it's a world's first. You have to see it to believe it.
A total of 31 performers appear during the show with nine costume changes. The lads themselves have five different costumes including modified tracksuits lined with LEDs - "staying true to their northern roots" according to Mark afterwards.
A few eyebrows have been raised about how Robbie would slot into the set. When contracts were signed for the big comeback a deal was agreed for him to perform 40 minutes of solo material.
But his introduction with a handful of his greatest hits, including Let Me Entertain You, Feel and Angels, only added to the excitement of the occasion.
Robbie has talked about nerves and crippling stage fright, but as soon as he took to the stage, the old show pony came out. He was loving every minute.
All his trademark dance moves, cheek and charm were back on show.
He immediately won over any cynics with some warm words for the crowd, a gag about the dodgy weather and a brilliant ad-lib song about superinjunctions.
And he even poked fun at his own ego as he was pulled across the stage on a chariot by a gang of gorgeous, roller-skating dancers wearing tiny hotpants.
The loudest cheer of the night came when the band finally appeared on stage as a five-piece again.
It was a spine-tingling moment as they performed The Flood, their first single to hit the charts when they got back together.
For all the fans from the first time round, the medley of their biggest hits is priceless. Robbie and Gary doing the famous dance routine during Pray was a special moment - especially when an out-of-breath Gary asked Robbie to adjust his sports bra for him afterwards.
The dance off between Jason and Howard during recent single Kidz was seriously impressive for two men the wrong side of 40.
But the real beauty of the show is that all five members had their chance to shine in equal measure - with no-one stealing the show.
The encore was an emotional moment with an impromptu group hug - probably the first of many over the coming months.
Speaking in the dressing room after, Mark told The Sun: "It's a proud moment for us all getting up there again together. We forget because we have been hanging around so much together, but the fact that all five of us are up there again is a brilliant thing. We just can't wait to get out there for the next two months.
"Then who knows what will happen?"
It was a tall order improving on Circus, but the band have succeeded. You won't hear many complaints if they decided to do it all again in two years time.
It'll just be the noise of a stampede for more tickets.
Fans love gag over gagging
ROBBIE ad-libbed a song about the biggest topic of the day - super-injuctions.
He poked fun at the rich and famous hiding behind gagging orders.
The crowd roared as he sang: "Loads of Mackams, loads of Geordies there could be a fight on opening night.
"I've just done some coke and I've sh***ed a wh*** that's what a super-injunction is for. Peter Reid has a monkeys heed, you could be a Mackam lass and p*** on the floor. It's opening night."
The tune was song Opening Night from musical The Producers.
Five lads... and No Regrets
TAKE THAT'S full line-up joined Robbie on stage as he performed his solo hit No Regrets - a song Rob wrote about his decision to quit the band back in 1995.
In the most poignant part of the show, he belted out the track with Mark, Howard, Jason and Gary.
It was the only time the other four sang on one of Rob's solo hits.
Since being reconciled with the band, he has frequently changed the line "I guess the love we once had is officially dead" to "I guess the love we once had is officially alive".

Марку нравиться выступать впятером. Там такие фотки но не копируются защищены.

It’s all about the band ...I see five guys and go ‘wow, look at us’
Says Mark Owen

IT was the moment when Mark Owen knew Take That were truly a five-man band again.
As the boys belted out their hit Pray, Mark looked across the stage to see his co-stars doing the familiar choreographed steps in perfect time - Gary, Howard, Jason... and Robbie.
The Progress Live 2011 tour kicked off on Friday night in front of 54,000 screaming fans at Sunderland's Stadium of Light and after all the fleeting reunions and guest appearances of the past year, Robbie Williams was finally back for good.
Mark revealed: "It was good seeing Rob doing the old dance routines. It was a sweet moment for us.
"He's been really good, you know. He's worked incredibly hard on the whole show. He has been incredibly enthusiastic.
"There are a lot of those moments when you have a look up and there are five of us. It sounds a bit eggy, but you do go, 'Wow, look at us'.
"We've come all this way and we are all here now after all this time."
The opening night of this monster stage show was an emotional moment for Take That fans old enough to have seen the first incarnation of the band but who had never seen them all on a big stadium tour.
Robbie quit the band in 1995 at the height of their fame but before they had done a proper series of huge concerts. A year later the rest of the band broke up.
Friday's spectacular was an equally momentous event for younger fans who had only ever seen the four-man Take That on tour since their reunion in 2006.
But no one could have appreciated the poignancy of the occasion more than Mark, who was always closest to Robbie in the band's early years.
We can Rule The World ... on stage with the lads at the Stadium of Light, Sunderland
WENN.com It has been a remarkable turnaround for Mark too after a turbulent year in which he has faced up to alcoholism and a crisis in his marriage.
Behind the scenes, he swigged on a pint of milk and when all the boys publicly toasted their reunion on stage two thirds of the way through the show, Mark and Robbie both did it with milk while Gary Barlow, Howard Donald and Jason Orange each raised a glass of red wine.
The drinks might have been different but the boys were united. Back on stage together, the joy was clear to behold.
It was a tall order to seamlessly reintroduce Robbie and to weld into one concert some of the old five-piece favourites with samples of Robbie's solo career, the band's more recent hits as a foursome and the new reunited material.
Mark said: "It's great - a really proud moment for us all getting up there again together.
"We forget, because we've been hanging around together a lot, the fact that all five of us are up there is actually a great thing - a really brilliant thing.
"I'm made up. To bring us together with Rob has been a challenge.
"How do we go from us as a four, to Rob, to five of us? It's like three starts of the show, really.
"We thought that we would come on with very little - a little counting clock and a bell.
"Then Rob wanted to do a bit of Sgt Pepper, so we designed it to get him coming out of the screen."
Mark, 38, Gary, 40, Jason, 40, and Howard, 42, kicked off the £15million show with their epic track Rule The World, then followed up with four more of their smash hits as a four-piece - Greatest Day, Hold Up A Light, Patience and Shine. Then came the reworked version of Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band as Robbie, 37, rejoined his pals before kicking off a solo set with a thumping performance of Let Me Entertain You.
As he sang Rock DJ, he paraded around the stage in a glass chariot pulled by rollerskating dancers.
After performing Come Undone, Robbie was winched out above the audience to sing Feel before finishing his solo section with Angels.
Dancers dressed as Shaolin monks in red cloaks and bearing swinging lanterns preceded the arrival of the newly reformed five-piece singing The Flood, at the end of which Robbie threw himself spectacularly to the floor with the help of suspension cables.
Only after the band had performed an explosive version of SOS from their new Progress album were the crowd introduced to the 60ft mechanical man which forms the centrepoint of their new hit Underground Machine. The boys have nicknamed the gigantic robot OM.
Mark takes the blame for any technological headaches that OM and the rest of the spectacular sets have caused.
He said: "The whole thing came from a pencil drawing - a sketch I did about a year ago. We've got to make a man stand up in the middle of the stage... so the technical stress is all my fault. It's weird seeing it coming to life."
Clearly shattered by the build up to the tour, which is being dubbed one of the greatest of all time, Mark explained that they lost a day of rehearsals leading up to the opening gig because of high winds. But, thankfully, everything came together in time. He said: "The crew, all 360 of them, have got a massive job on their hands. There are lots of cues, but they are getting tighter and tighter every time.
"I'm pleased, really proud. The chemistry is fun. It feels really good up there.
"This is where we are now, so it felt right. There were lots of smiles and we're just looking forward to getting up there in front of more proper crowds again because the vibe is going to be incredible."
And having Robbie back was especially important to Mark.
He said: "It felt great the way he fitted in. It hasn't been an easy show to put together, but we've done a good job." Not all of the problems in the final rehearsals turned out to be technical.
Mark revealed: "As he came off the stage, Jason said, 'We've spent all this money and me kecks have split!' He had the wrong trousers on!
"We can get a giant man to stand up and walk through the crowd, but we can't get the basics right - like getting a pair of trousers to fit."
He added: "We've got these Adidas tracksuits lined with LEDs. For it to work we've all got to press a button at the same time - so that should be a laugh to see if we get it right as the tour goes on."
Mark also admitted to having kittens as Robbie is swung out above the crowd on a crane.
He said: "Robbie will have to watch he doesn't get pulled out by the audience. He will be encouraging it, though! We've tried to devise a different show with this - we wanted to incite different emotions from the last one.
"There are some great songs in there. It's all about the band.
"These next two months are going to be great now, when we get on the road and spend loads of time together.
"In August we'll be done and drift away and then we'll see what happens.
"I'm not worried about where we go from here. If that 60ft robot stands up every night, that's enough for me.
In all honesty, it just covers up our insecurities really.
"If we put on a load of stuff, no one will notice we are there. That's the whole idea."
