Take That could be sticking around for a bit longer, according to Howard Donald. The 43-year-old singer said that he and his band-mates would be crazy to quit now, having just finished a record-breaking sell-out tour - their first since the return of Robbie Williams. He told The Sun, "We're at the highest possible point we can be tour-wise and album-wise. We've done much better than I expected. It would be complete sacrilege if we said, 'let's call it a day, let's stop'." Robbie Williams's return to the band naturally took some of the attention away from the rest of the lads. Robbie may well be off to pursue his solo career for a while, but Howard said it was nice getting to know him again while they recorded the album Progress in New York. "Being in New York and creating half the album there is a memory I will always have," he said. "It just had a different feeling to being in the UK and doing it - you could feel the album coming together, you could feel the friendship of five people." But he admitted that any future tour will have to top their last one to keep the fans happy. "We could stand on a massive stage and put amazing lights and lasers on and not have any of these tricks and hydraulics and the big men and elephants. "We could have all that and we could do a great show. But would they ever come and see us again because we are not of a standard that we were in our last show? "We want people to go home and go to sleep with a smile on their face, be blown away by it, and hope a Take That ticket goes on sale again in a couple of years."

Take That are splitting up for two years – and may NEVER tour again, we can reveal.
The move follows their sell-out Progress Live tour which left some band members exhausted, leading to backstage bust-ups.
Howard Donald, Jason Orange and Mark Owen threatened to quit the group but Gary Barlow stepped in as peace-maker and convinced them to stay.

Gary, 40, will host a summit of band members to thrash out the band’s future once he has finished his stint as an X Factor judge at Christmas.
A Take That insider said: “At first it was a fairytale, having Robbie back and being a five-piece again, but a few arguments and their touring schedule made it hard going.
“Howard, Jason and Mark all said they were shattered at the end of their tour, and are not sure they’ll be able to go through it all again at their age.”
He warned: “This could now mean the end of the band.” Sources close to the group last night confirmed they would be taking at least a year to 18-months off while Robbie concentrateson a solo tour and new solo material.
“They will be meeting up to discuss things after Christmas. They all love touring and recording music, and have been totally dedicated to Take That but nothing has been decided about what happens next,” the source said.
However, we can reveal that tensions within Take That have been bubbling under ever since their appearance at the Brit Awards in February – after Robbie apparently demanded a more prominent position on stage during their routine.
But it was during the group’s best-selling European stadium tour that the group are said to have had disagreements.
The tour, which kicked off in Sunderland in May, was a huge commercial success and Take That’s Progress album, released in June, became the fastest selling album of the century.
But our source explained: “There were problems. The guys knew working with Robbie would be different but they didn’t realise how much of a change they’d have to make to accommodate him. Robbie can be over the top and most of the time is just joking around, but he should have been more aware and tried to fit in.”
During some of their sell-out gigs, newly-married Robbie’s erratic behaviour caused the clean-cut band public embarrassment. Some fans even walked out after his four-letter outbursts at their Wembley gigs.
And behind the scenes, his behaviour caused further anger among his bandmates. “He singled out Jason for the worst of his jibes. Some of it was just light-heart fun but some of it Jason took to heart,” our source said. “While they were rehearsing he kept calling him ‘gay’ and having other childish digs at him.
“Jason had to be calmed down a few times by the others and was beginning to ask himself if he could be bothered with it all.”
By the end of the tour, Howard, 43, Jason, 41, and Mark, 39, were shattered and spoke to Gary about their feelings.
Our insider said: “Gary told them they should all meet after Christmas to discuss their future. The meeting of the five of them will be absolutely crucial.
He added: “Take That are likely to have a break, but they could even split for good.”
Last night a Take That spokesman dismissed claims of a rift, saying: “The band are all on great terms. They are on a well deserved break at the moment, taking a post-tour holiday.”

| От прошлого до нынешнего тура как раз прошло два года, так что будем надеяться, что этого времени ребятам будет достаточно, чтобы хорошенько отдохнуть, набраться сил и вновь порадовать нас хоты бы новым альбомом. А там, глядишь, и и тур сам собой организуется.
