Popular band Take That’s member Mark Owen has decided to re-launch his solo career.

Mark, who has touched towering heights with his band, consisting of Jason Orange, Gary Barlow and Howard Donald, is keen to go solo.

Mark wants to cash in on the popularity of the hit band, and carve a niche as a solo artist.

“Mark has loved the Take That reunion, every second of it. But he still has a huge desire to be on stage with his own band regardless of all the money, huge crowds and success he has been used to with TT (Take That),” the Daily Star quoted a source as telling The Sun.

Mark’s previous attempts at a solo career have been less than commercially successful, as his three albums Green Man, In Your Own Time and How The Mighty Fall failed to make a mark on the charts. (ANI)

Buzzing from my daily dose of two cups of strong coffee - after hearing it reduces the risk of Alzheimer's - I thought I was hallucinating when I bumped into lovely Mark Owen (left) on Wednesday.

So what would you think he'd be doing having finished Take That's sell-out UK tour just the weekend before? Luxury holiday perhaps? A stay in The Priory to get over the stress of it all? Don't be silly. He was out pushing baby Willow in her pram along our local street, as he often does. He's just like any other dad and that's how he sees it. Which is why Take That will always have a huge following.

They've never lost touch with reality. And their fans know it.

After performing a string of energetic concerts for Take That's Circus tour, bandmember Mark Owen is taking a well-earned summer holiday.
The Mancunian singer, 37, and his actress partner Emma Ferguson brought their two children Elwood Jack and Willow Rose for a relaxing break in Mauritius.
As Mark's fair-skinned girlfriend stayed in the shade with their eight-month-old daughter Willow, the pop star larked around in the sea with toddler Elwood, who turns three next month.
Clearly not fond of blistering heat, the family chose to visit the Indian Ocean island during its winter, which sees Mauritius enjoy a balmy average temperature of 21 degrees - cooler than Mark's native England has been in recent weeks.
Arriving on the beach, Mark stripped down to a pair of swimming trunks before dressing Elwood in an aqua suit to protect his fair skin.
Revelling in fatherhood, Mark was all smiles as he threw a delighted Elwood in the air as they played in the surf.
After their day on the beach, the family then strolled around their resort, looking at the local shops.

Mark's family holiday comes a week after Take That finished their record-breaking Circus stadium tour in Wembley Stadium.
The 20-date tour took in seven cities in the UK and Ireland and featured the four-piece performing challenging circus acts in addition to their usual singing and dancing.
Take That wanted to take the Circus tour to Europe, but found the spectacular large set would be too expensive to transport overseas.
After the tour ended, Mark's bandmate Gary Barlow and his wife Dawn took their three children to California for a family break.
Mark, Gary, Howard Donald and Jason Orange are preparing to go back into the studio later this year to record their sixth studio album.
Gary said: 'We will take a break after the tour then start writing again for the next album in autumn - it would be stupid to stop now wouldn't it?'

Playfully catching his young son as they splashed around together in the Indian Ocean, Mark Owen couldn’t have looked happier. The singer got to spend some quality time with his family at the weekend after wrapping up the Take That tour earlier this month.

The 37-year-old and his long-term partner, actress Emma Ferguson, jetted to the idyllic island isle of Mauritius on holiday along with their two children, two-year-old son Elwood and daughter Willow Rose, who is just seven-months.

And while his youngest peacefully slept in her shaded pram on the sand, watched by her doting mum Emma, Mark spent some time bonding with the little man, who was clearly in his element to be the centre of his famous dad's attention.

After enjoying time in the sea together, the boys built castles in the sand before Mark sat back and proudly watched his son play.

Rest and relaxation were no doubt order of the holiday for Mark after finishing The Circus Tour Live at Wembley on July 5. The Oldham-born pop star and his three bandmates – Gary Barlow, Howard Donald and Jason Orange – played 20 dates on their reunion tour, their biggest to date and the fastest selling tour in UK history.

With the Circus tour now behind him, Mark is in Mauritius with his young family for a well-deserved break. And though in the isle's winter months, it was still warm enough for the Take That star and Elwood to happily play around in the sea together

Hope enjoyed a spectacular day courtesy of Make-A-Wish when she had her wish granted to meet her pop idols ‘Take That’ at Wembley Stadium.

Ten year old Hope, from South Ockendon in Essex, is living with Cerebral Palsy and is a huge fan of the famous group.

After first visiting the London Eye with her family, Hope was whisked off to Wembley Stadium in a luxury pink limousine to meet her favourite band - she could hardly contain her excitement.

She was especially thrilled to meet Mark Owen as he is her favourite member of the group. She clapped her hands and blew him kisses when she met him. Mark was very touched and made Hope the envy of millions of girls when he bent down to give her a kiss on the cheek and told her to have a great time watching the show.

There was one extra surprise waiting – the chance to watch the concert in full and see her favourite pop stars perform. Hope thought the show was incredible and smiled all the way through, clapping her hands to her favourite songs, especially the number one hit ‘Never Forget’.

Hope’s mother Nadine said: “Hope will remember this day forever and so will I. Just to see the smile on her face made me so happy. Thank you Make-A-Wish for making this magical wish happen.”
