It's a Shame for Robbie and Gary as they fail to make number one with reunion duet Much has been made of their highly-anticipated reunion, but Robbie Williams and Gary Barlow have been left disappointed after their duet failed to make number one this weekend.
The Take That band mates teamed up for the first time since 1995 to release Shame, ahead of the band's new single next month.
But the singers were pipped to the top of the charts by American artist Cee Lo Green with his song Forget You, which also has a more explicit version, F*** You.
The singer, who made his name with Gnarls Barkley, reportedly sold 107,000 copies, putting Williams and Barlow's song in second place.
The band mates did not seem worried by the news when they appeared on Daybreak this morning to perform the song, and laughed and joked around on stage.
There was at least one Take That fan in the studio, as host Christine Bleakley appeared breathless as she joined them after the duet, giggling and saying, 'I came over all funny there!'
Robbie stayed on to chat with Bleakley and co-host Adrian Chiles as part of a much-hyped Robbie Williams morning on the programme, to promote the release of his Greatest Hits album, In and Out of Consciousness, today.
The 36-year-old spoke candidly about returning to the band that made him famous, and joked that he was 'Back for Good.'
'The democracy of Take That is brilliant now,' he said. 'Everybody chips in, everybody gets an equal say, and it’s something that I don’t plan on leaving for a bit.
'We’ve met on a level playing surface – the boys have come back and have done exceptionally well.
'People have had kids and you know, the edges for me have sort of rounded-off a little bit, and so have the boys.'
Answering some quick questions fired at him by the Daybreak hosts, Williams joked that meeting wife Ayda Field was both his 'biggest success' and 'biggest regret' from his 20 years in the music industry.
He said that he and Ayda were 'negotiating' the subject of children: 'She wants to go now, and I'm like "No, let's go around the world and enjoy ourselves."'
