| Robbie and Jonny Wilkes, friend and co-founder of Soccer Aid, have been in Mexico City this week with children's charity UNICEF. They were there to visit some of the city´s most vulnerable children and make a short film, raising awareness of the children that will be helped by the proceeds from Soccer Aid 2012. The film will be shown during Soccer Aid on ITV 1, on May 27th 2012.
Filming took place in some of the poorest parts of Mexico City, including the slums of Itzapalapa. Robbie and Jonathan spent time with an 18-month-old child, called Kimberley, and her five brother and sisters who live hand to mouth in cramped, dirty conditions and are at risk of abuse and disease. They also visited a shelter which helps children and their families by giving them a safe place to sleep as well as clean water to drink and nutritious food to eat.
"Meeting children in Mexico City really showed me how dangerous the world can be for a child," said Robbie, "and how hard it can be for them to even survive. Right now, children are suffering and it shouldn’t be like this.
Soccer Aid is so great because it helps children just like this, living unbelievably tough lives all around the world, to have a better future. It´s also a brilliant football match, and I can tell you it´s going to be bigger and better than ever this year. Why's that? Well, I’m definitely going to get the winner’s cup back from Michael Sheen.

| James McAvoy is the latest addition to join the Soccer Aid 2012 line up. The Atonement star will be joining fellow actors Gerard Butler, Michael Sheen, Jason Isaacs, Mike Myers and WIll Ferrell (along with a host of other celebrities and footballers, including Robbie) on the pitch at Manchester's Old Trafford on Sunday, 27th May for Soccer Aid.

| Робби выступит на Юбилее Королевы!
Robbie will be performing at London's Buckingham Palace on Monday 4th June as part of The Queen's Diamond Jubilee Concert.
He will join some of the biggest names in music such as Tom Jones, Elton John, Ed Sheeran, JLS, Jessie J and Shirley Bassey, to name a few, who've been brought together by the BBC and fellow Take That bandmate Gary Barlow for the show, which will take place in the stunning surroundings of the Queen Victoria Memorial in front of Buckingham Palace.
"If this doesn't get me a knighthood, nothing will," joked Robbie. "I can't wait for the show."
“The Diamond Jubilee concert will celebrate the 60 years of The Queen’s reign with an amazing line-up of world-class artists coming together to play at one of the biggest and most exciting live music shows in recent years," said Gary Barlow. "With Buckingham Palace as a backdrop, it's going to be a fantastic event which transcends multiple decades of music. It'll be a great, unique, experience for the thousands attending, watching on TV and listening on Radio. I can't wait!”
The concert will be attended by Her Majesty The Queen, His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh and other Members of the Royal Family and will be broadcast live on BBC One, BBC One HD and on BBC Radio 2 in the UK and to millions around the world. If you're in the United States you'll be able to watch exclusive highlights on ABC the next day.

| World football keepy-uppy champion Dan Magness is heading up Unicef's 'Keep It Up for Soccer Aid' campaign today as he attempts to set yet another word record… keepy-uppys from Wembley to Old Trafford!
Dan currently holds the record for the longest ever keep-uppy, which he set in 2010, but he's planning to top that with this year's crazy Soccer Aid challenge, which kicks off today.

| Рок-звездой в команде мира станет Sergio Pizzorno из Kasabian.
There are just over three weeks to go until Soccer Aid hits Old Trafford and there are still some huge names to be announced. The latest megastar to be confirmed Sergio Pizzorno from the mighty rock band, Kasabian.
Serge had originally dreamt of being a footballer when he was younger, but his plans soon changed when his careers adviser disagreed: "I told my careers adviser I wanted to be centre forward for Leicester City. When he said 'No' I thought I'd be in a rock 'n' roll band." It's time for him to swap his guitar for football boots and sell out arenas for the Theatre of Dreams to help raise money for UNICEF!
He joins the Rest of the World team, captained by Welsh actor Michael Sheen, alongside Will Ferrell, Gerard Butler, Mike Myers, James McAvoy, Patrick Kielty and Gordon Ramsay with ex Manchester United players Edwin van der Sar, Roy Keane, Ruud Van Nistelrooy and Jaap Stam. The team will be managed by legendary Scot, Kenny Dalglish.
The formidable England team will be captained by Robbie Williams, with Jason Isaacs, Mark Owen, Marvin Humes, Aston Merrygold, Olly Murs, John Bishop, Jonathan Wilkes, Ben Shephard, Jamie Theakston and Paddy McGuinness. Football heroes Teddy Sheringham, David Seaman and Martin Keown will complete the squad. For the first time Bradley Walsh takes on the role as Coach with Jamie Redknapp assistant managing.

| With just over ten days to go to the big event, three more sporting greats have joined Soccer Aid 2012.
The three latest include West Ham manager Sam 'Big Sam' Allardyce, Welsh retired boxer Joe Calzaghe, also known as the 'Italian Dragon', and former Man City player Peter Reid.
Sam and Joe both return this year, having taken part in 2010's line up, where Joe Calzaghe scored a goal in the 63rd minute, a performance no doubt he will be hoping to repeat this year.
Peter Reid, fresh off his recent celebrations following Man City winning the premiership, will be making his debut appearance at Soccer Aid.

| A head of Soccer Aid, Robbie and Jonny recently visited Mexico City with UNICEF to make a short film raising awareness of how Soccer Aid helps children all around the world. The footage will be shown on ITV1 during the big game on 27th May.
A head of that, tune into the clip below, shot on their trip, as the lads challenge each other, and the camera crew, to keepy uppys, and remind us that Keep It Up for Soccer Aid isn’t just about football, it can be about anything!
