| Gary Barlow has said Take That are a four-piece again - but Robbie Williams is welcome to come back any time.
The 40-year-old X Factor judge told the Radio Times Williams was no longer in the band.
"It was beautiful. We got on well. We finished the tour. We're all happy", he said.
Barlow explained: "The fans have come along and been happy. Great, great, great, great, great.
"Now Rob's doing a solo record, and from this point it's back to where it was."
He said Take That's revival as a five-man band "ended perfectly", adding: "You know what, we can revisit it whenever we want.
"He's our brother, Rob is, and if he's ever in trouble or he wants to have a year off being Robbie Williams, he's welcome any time he wants."
The chart-toppers announced in 2010 that they would be performing their first tour as a complete group, Progress Live 2011, for 16 years.
Barlow said of the pair's previous fall-outs: "It would be unfair for me to say he's the one with the ego because I've got a pretty big ego as well.
"And especially in those younger days when I was 24 and he was 20, but then you come back - I was 38 and he was 34 - and it's like 'let's talk this through'."

Хотя вот я лично так и не считала и не считаю что он возвращался! Это было просто временное сотрудничество!

| Gary Barlow has admitted that Take That are a four-piece again, saying the group's time with Robbie Williams had ended "perfectly".
A spokesman said the band was simply "on a break" from its present line-up.
"It was beautiful," Gary said. "We got on well. We finished the tour. The fans have come along and been happy. Now Rob's doing a solo record and from this point it's back to where it was."
The spokesman said, "I can confirm that the band are not splitting " he said.
"The band are on a break, Gary is doing X Factor and Robbie is working on his new solo album."
Gary Barlow made similar comments about the band's line-up earlier this year.
'Year off'
Take That performed their first full tour with Robbie Williams for 16 years this summer, Progress Live.
They broke the record for the highest grossing concert series.
According to Billboard Boxscore, the group made more than £38 million during their eight nights at Wembley Stadium in June and July.

They also released an album together, Progress, which made it to number one in the UK album chart.

The 40-year-old also talked to the Radio Times about the tensions that existed between the group and Robbie Williams.
"It would be unfair for me to say he's the one with the ego because I've got a pretty big ego as well," he said.
"And especially in those younger days when I was 24 and he was 20, but then you come back - I was 38 and he was 34 - and it's like 'Let's talk this through.'
"All those years I'd just imagined this moment to actually be sat there opposite this person who'd said so much worse than anybody else had ever in my life, done so much damage and said so much bad stuff.
"To eventually be sat there opposite the person was liberating."

‘And I hope I never take it for granted because I love it and I love being a part of it. I love being up there with everyone. You know, it does definitely feel like a band.’
But Robbie’s latest buzz about the group failed to last. Only weeks after the summer concerts ended, the 37-year-old suddenly announced he was going it alone once again.
And with X Factor judge Gary Barlow recently ramping up his own solo foray, concerned bandmate Howard Donald is also seen on camera fretting about the man band splitting altogether.
The 43-year-old singer said: ‘We’re at the highest possible point we can be, tour-wise and album-wise. We’ve done much better than I expected. It would be complete sacrilege if we actually said “Let’s call it a day. Let’s stop”.’

| TAKE That will continue for ever, promises Gary Barlow.
Nerves frayed when the lads admitted their brief reunion with Robbie Williams, 37, was over.
But chief Gary has vowed to keep the band going until they are being wheeled around a showbiz care home. Gaz, 40, told me: “We will always be around. Having Rob back or not, I think we can do it for the rest of our lives now.”
Out next week, the band’s live Progress tour DVD is enjoying HMV’s second-biggest pre-sales of the year, after Harry Potter.
Gaz admitted: “I watched it the other night and it feels like years ago, that bloody concert.
“It looks incredible. I’m proud of us. It was an incredible two years and we did it.
“For now Progress is done, but I think we will come back to it with Rob whenever we feel like it.”
And Gary is already tentatively plotting TT’s next move. He revealed: “Rob wants to do a solo record next year. So it will be the four of us.
“I have no idea what direction it will go in. We will only know that when the four of us go back in the studio. At the moment I have no time to write new songs because of all my other jobs.”
Besides X Factor, those commitments include Children In Need, which has seen Gary pull together a host of urban talent christened The Collective.
“In fairness it was Labrinth who pulled most people together, along with Tulisa.
“It took on a life of its own.”
