| Take That’s record breaking Progress Live 2011 tour begins in Sunderland on Friday - eeek! The hard working crew putting the whole event together are really feeling the stress – and it’s all down to some last minute changes.
Take That’s production designer Chris Vaughn has spoken to The Sun about the tour, and it sounds like he’s heading for a break down, “I am numb from worry. If I stopped to think about it I’d be on a plane to Rio. We’re desperately trying to make everything the band wanted to happen to happen. It’s stressful, honing set design, people changing their minds and the show being tweaked some.”
We don’t blame Chris for feeling the pressure; the tour is costing £15millon to stage, and will be twice the scale of The Circus tour. With 275 technical crew and 110 trucks needed to get the show on the road there is a whole lot to organise.
Hands up if you are excited about seeing all five Take That boys together again. We actually can’t wait.

| GARY BARLOW and ROBBIE WILLIAMS won't struggle to find a chef to knock up a fruit salad while TAKE THAT are on tour.
Fourteen cooks will hit the road with the lads and they will bang out an incredible 1,100 restaurant-standard meals a day.
That's nearly as many as RIK WALLER gets through.
The lads will be gutted that they're both on diets. They're competing to see who will lose most weight.
You can understand why Gary and Robbie are keen to be in peak condition.
Progress Live is the biggest tour ever to take place in the UK and Ireland - more than 1.75million people will see it.
It includes a record-breaking eight nights at Wembley Stadium, beating MICHAEL JACKSON's seven nights for his Bad world tour in 1988.
Take That fans can't wait for the first gig to kick off in Sunderland on Friday.
But spare a thought for the roadies. Even GEOFF CAPES and NIGHTSHADE from Gladiators would struggle to lug around the equipment.
Twenty-two tons of electrical cable will be used for every gig. It takes 48 hours to build the stage and set and another 19 to take it all down again.
At least they've got plenty of bodies on the job - 287 to be exact, plus another 160 crew in each city.
Just the 104 trucks will be on the tour, which heads to Europe for another seven dates after the UK leg.
That's plenty of toffees and mix tapes to get through.

| SIX weeks touring round Britain isn’t enough for Take That – because then they’re all going on HOLIDAY together.
I can reveal that the fivesome – reunited for the first time in 15 years for their forthcoming sell-out tour – will be strapping on their backpacks after their last UK gig for a well-earned break in Europe.
A car is whisking Robbie Williams, Howard Donald, Mark Owen, Gary Barlow and Jason Orange straight to the airport after their final Wembley gig on July 9.

And if they’re not all sick of the sight of each other by then, they will head off on a sightseeing trek round Italy, Denmark, Holland and Germany, fitting in the last few European gigs along the way.
A source said: “It will be the first time the lads have all gone away together properly in 15 years.
“They are really excited. They want to get a chance to have a look around places that they never actually got to soak up properly first time round.
“When they were touring in the early 1990s they were just in and out of all these beautiful countries.
“But this time they are scheduling time to relax, lap up the cultures and food and visit undiscovered places.” I revealed that Take That spent last winter in the Caribbean after being snapped up to perform for Universal bosses on New Year’s Eve.
Robbie could not make it due to family commitments, spending Christmas at his LA pad with his better half, Ayda Field.
But this time the manband will be bunking up together on hols. No excuses.
They will have earned a break by then after their gruelling tour of UK and Ireland, which kicks off at Sunderland’s Stadium of Light tomorrow night.
I’m told: “Hundreds of fans have already started camping outside The Stadium of Light to bag the best spots closest to the stage. It’s like Beatle-mania all over again.”The Progress Live tour will be a family affair this time, as Take That are bringing their wives and children along with them.
I’m told: “All the families are coming to support so the guys have made sure it will be like a playground backstage for the kids.
“They will have the whole area to themselves – the size of Brixton Academy.
“The monster shows will be something else – around 22 tons of electrical cable will be used for every gig and it takes 48 hours just to build the stage.”
Let’s hope the roadies get a holiday too.

| Slightly random Take That news today – the whole band have decided to go backpacking after the final date of their UK tour.
Robbie, Howard, Mark, Gary and Jason will go straight to the airport from their Wembley gig and get started on a little sightseeign tour of Europe.
The boys are planning to trek around Italy, Denmark, Holland and Germany, while performing the last couple of gigs along the way. Not quite the same travelling style as most students then.

Take That star Howard Donald has spoken of his nerves ahead of the band's reunion stadium tour - and said he is trying not to think about what might go wrong.
The group are due to kick off a sell-out tour, which will see them perform to more than a million fans in the UK and Ireland.
It will be their first tour with Robbie Williams restored to the line-up, after his 1995 departure.
Donald said that, despite the excitement of the shows, he was "nervous as well".
"Things are coming together now, but it's when you'll have any technical issues," he said.
"Things have to flow, and if you want to think hard about it, there is a lot you can worry about.
Bandmate Jason Orange said he was "hugely" excited about the shows, which begin at Sunderland's Stadium Of Light. And he is trying to avoid worrying.
"It'll be reet. It always is," he said.
Take That are currently in the top 40 with their single Love Love from the new X-Men: First Class movie.
The group's main songwriter, Gary Barlow, said it would be the sole track from their forthcoming collection of new songs, Progressed, which will feature during the tour.
"It's the only one from the new batch that we play live," he said.
