Ну вот Маркина Нева разговорилась
The secret lover of Take That’s Mark Owen today reveals how the star hit rock-bottom in a cocktail of booze and lies... just weeks before his wedding. Dancer Neva Hanley – who had a five-year affair with the singer – listened in amazement as he poured out his heart about his rocky relationship with long-suffering partner Emma Ferguson.
Mark downed three bottles of wine during the evening. Then, after declaring, “Emma thinks I’m a drunk” Owen took Neva, 24, to bed for one last wine-weary sex session. The 5am romp in a £250 suite at London’s Kensington Gore hotel last September summed up the sorry state of his life.
Neva, speaking for the first time about her relationship with Mark, said: “It was hardly a memorable way to mark our last time together after we had been making love for the last five years.”
The self-pitying tirade was the first time Mark had opened up to Neva about his troubled home life. He had kept his affair hidden from Emma for all of those five years, and it was a sign that he was close to breaking point as he struggled with his drink problem and the guilt of his constant cheating.
That night marked the end of passionate affair Mark had shamelessly carried out behind the back of actress Emma – mother of his children Elwood, three, and Willow, 19months.
He and Neva met once more, but never made love again.
In March this year, Mark finally broke down and confessed to Emma about his affair with Neva and around 10 one-night stands on tour with Take That – although he admitted he didn’t know how many girls he had slept with altogether.
He said at the time: “I have been an idiot, a d***head, a k***head.”
The admission stunned millions of Take That fans – who knew Mark as the “Nicest Guy in Pop”.
Mark blamed his cheating on his out-of-control drinking and checked into The Priory rehab clinic in a bid to conquer his demons.
Emma agreed to give him another chance for the sake of their children after he vowed to be a better husband and father.
But the full details of his affair with Neva – and his callous disregard for his young wife and family – will come as another blow to Emma.
As Take That fans celebrated Robbie Williams’ return to the group this week, Neva revealed how she romped with Mark in LA, at his country mansion and in London hotels when Emma kicked him out of the family home.
And she told the Sunday Mirror how they had sex a week after his daughter Willow was born in November 2008. Mark invited Neva to a hotel while Emma recovered from the birth.
Neva was 19 in 2004 when Mark, then 32 and at a low point in his career before Take That’s reunion, chatted her up as they waited for the 9.20am Preston to London train.
She said: “Mark had really long hair with a black trilby hat with a grey stripe, worn jeans, a white T-shirt with designer rips and a long black cardie – and he was smoking.
“I was too young to be a Take That fan and didn’t realise who he was until a couple of 30-something girls asked him for his autograph.
"He asked me to sit with him and said he would buy me a first-class ticket – he paid something extortionate, about £150 from Preston to Crewe.
"We chatted about my dancing and about the industry, he played me some of his new songs, which I thought were OK. I never thought he was chatting me up – I was quite naïve and hadn’t really had a proper boyfriend.”

When Neva got off the train Mark scribbled his number on a scrap of paper and asked her to stay in touch.
She texted him to say thanks and a week later the pair started chatting regularly until Mark flew to LA, where he was due to record a solo album.
Neva said: “He rang me out of the blue at the end of September and asked if I wanted to come out for a few days. I agreed on condition he booked me my own room – I even called the hotel to check he’d done it before I left.”
On their first date Mark drove Neva to the Hollywood sign and took her to his favourite Sunset Boulevard restaurant.
“On the second day, he grabbed me and kissed me on the lips as we were getting ready to go out for dinner.
"We had sex for the first time that night in my room. It was just bog-standard sex, but it felt nice and romantic.”
Neva returned to Chester after four days, but Mark kept in touch and invited her to his home in north Lancashire two months later.
“It was a beautiful st one house with two wings, an amazing dining room with a granite table and a room he called “the blue room” which had his piano, a massive TV and sound system.
“There were very few personal touches. Just a couple of photos of Mark with mates and a card from his sister.”
The pair went for country walks and Mark cooked for Neva, but they spent most of the weekend drinking white wine and vodka and making love.
In March 2005, Mark introduced Neva to his family backstage after a gig in Manchester.
Later that year Mark reunited with bandmates Gary, Jason and Howard and announced a comeback tour for 2006.
In December he dropped a bombshell – texting Neva the news that Emma was expecting his child. “It was the first time he’d mentioned her. I was angry because I thought we talked about everything.”

Neva gave Mark the cold shoulder, but his calls started again after she contacted his manager about tickets for the Take That reunion shows.
“We both lived in London by then but Mark would stay in hotels sometimes and call me, normally after a few drinks. I knew it would lead to sex.”
After Take That’s smash-hit comeback, Mark found it hard to resist unlimited alcohol and adoring groupies – and Neva began to see his dark side.
“Mark could keep drinking long after everyone else had stopped. He had mood swings. Once me and Jonathan, his manager, were with him. He was ranting about how no one understood him, playing the tortured musician card.
“He locked himself in the bathroom and Jonathan just said, ‘I can’t deal with him when he’s like this’, and left. Another time he called me drunk from Las Vegas and started making lurid comments about things we’d done in the bed – he never normally talked like that.”
Mark was also becoming paranoid about covering his tracks. “He would meet me at the front door of a hotel, so he was still taking a risk. But he never met me after a concert. And he never let me take a photo of us on a camera-phone.”
Neva was one of the first people Mark called after Willow was born on November 25, 2008. They had sex less than a week later. “He called me as he was driving away from the hospital. He said, ‘We’ve called her Willow – she’s so beautiful.’
“He called again a few days later, at 9pm from the K-West (West London hotel). I went there and drank G&Ts, he drank white wine and then we had sex. He told me he was so alone.”
One night at the Gore Hotel last September, Mark drunkenly poured his heart out to Neva.
As he sank glass after glass of wine, he said Emma had kicked him out because of his drinking.
Neva said: “He was really upset – he said he loved Emma and the kids but he thought she was going to call the wedding off because she was getting suspicious.
“Yet when the conversation got round to us he said he loved me for the first time and wished things could have turned out differently.”
At 5am Mark took Neva to bed for sex but passed out.
Neva said: “I left the room while Mark was still asleep – I left him a note saying, ‘Everything will work out, it will be OK, you’ll be happy.’”
Neva found it painful to look at the pictures of Mark beaming alongside Emma in a candlelit wedding ceremony near Inverness last November.
But Mark kept in touch by phone and text even after the wedding. She agreed to meet him again in a pub in West London last February after he said he wanted to talk.
“I kind of expected an apology but he was so selfish and calculating. He only talked about himself, how he was worried the things he had done would come back to haunt him.”
After Mark’s public confession in March, Neva became a pariah for some Take That fans who started hate groups on Facebook. She quit her job and escaped to Bangalore in India where she spent three months volunteering with deprived women in the city’s slums.
Looking back now, she says: “The more I saw of the ‘bad’ Mark, the more I found out how much he could let you down – and I realised what life is like for Emma.”
