| Lawson have revealed that they will be heading into the recording studio with Take That star Gary Barlow today (14th June).
Lead singer Andy Brown took to his Twitter account to reveal the news to his followers and admitted he is looking forward to the experience.
"Can't wait to get back in the studio today. Looking forward to writing a biiig one with @GBarlowOfficial, " he wrote.
Last month, the 'When She Was Mine' singer revealed that he was over the moon when he realised the 'Rule The World' star was following him on Twitter.
Meanwhile, the band were among the stars who took to the stage at Capital FM's Summertime Ball 2012 this past weekend.

| New band on the scene Lawson have been busy in the studio writing with the music legend that is Mr. Gary Barlow - it's been revealed. Not bad for a band that have only just scored their first top 10 hit, eh?
Although the 'When She Was Mine' singers have only been catapulted into the limelight recently, following their huge tour with pals The Wanted, it appears that the boys' are already 'in there' and making lots of new showbiz pals.
"It's an amazing feeling to work with one of you idols," Andy told the Daily Star this week. "To write with Gary was incredible."
"What a day writing with @GBarlowOfficial #TrueGent… was a pleasure writing with you," Andy previously tweeted last weekend.
The four-piece band have also been teasing fans this week about a big announcement fans can expect later today (June 19).
"So, what would you say if we told you we had a MASSIVE announcement to make this week…………?" Andy, Adam Pitts, Joel Peat and Ryan Fletcher posted yesterday.
"We refuse to confirm or deny any rumours. We're just saying. BIG NEWS. This week. You probably didn't see it coming. Even though it's HUGE."
Meanwhile, the heart-throbs have spoken to Entertainmentwise that their slightly rockier performance style is what differentiates them from global superstars One Direction.
"We play our own instruments," said Joel. "We've got guitars and we like to put on a rock show. That's a bit different to the boys."
We were also curious to know if the guys have had much recognition from keen girls on the street, to which Andy said: "Not really, we want to! Our first single went to No4... but we're still quite a new band so not that many people know us yet, though."
"Hopefully we'll have girls throw themselves at us soon!"
Aaaah, we're sure you're not lacking in the female department, boys!

| LAWSON HAVE TO DROP BARLOW TRACKS
Lawson have revealed to the Daily Star that their Gary Barlow written tracks will be be featuring on their debut album.
The tracks were apparently finished too late in the process, now the band are considering a deluxe repackaged album with the tracks which would be released in Autumn.
Lawson are comprised of Andy Brown, 25, guitarist Joel Peat, 22, bassist, Ryan Fletcher, 22, and drummer Adam Pitts, 21.
They commented on working with Gary – “Take That are on the same label as us – Polydor – and we also work with the same producer, so Gary heard some of our stuff and really loved it.
“We went in and wrote together and it was a dream come true.
“He’s an amazing guy and a great writer so I couldn’t have asked for more.
“It was such a fast two days. We had six hours to write a couple of songs but as the album is already finished we’ll have to do a deluxe version later to get them out.”
Apparently one of the stand-out tracks is called Living In My Shadow – bassist Ryan commented that he was in tears whilst recording his bass parts.
Ryan said: “When I went in to record my bass part I was in tears.”
