Jade Richards has revealed that she may return to the X Factor next year.
The Scottish singer made it as far as the judges houses stage of the series last month, but was eliminated at the final stage by her mentor Kelly Rowland, after she opted to take Janet Devlin, Amelia Lily, Misha Bryan and Sophie Habibis to the live shows.
However the experience hasn’t put her off trying out again and though Jade admits she was ‘gutted’ by Kelly’s decision but may return in 2012. She told The Daily Record:
“I had such an amazing experience on X Factor, I would never rule out trying it again.
“I never say ‘no’ to these things and try to keep an open mind.”
Richards confessed that she was devastated when Kelly informed her in Miami, that she wouldn’t perform on the live finals. She added:
“I was gutted but it’s one of those things.
“Obviously, in my category it was really tough because all the girls were talented.
“There was no one there who couldn’t sing so it was a hard decision for someone to make.”
Jade also admitted that she thinks she would have lots in common with 2010 X Factor reject Gamu Nhengu, and would like to meet her at some point, to talk about their shared experience. She added:
“It would be nice to talk to someone who has been through the same thing.”
Jade is planning to release a Christmas single later this year, with fellow X Factor reject Terry Winstanley.

| Janet Devlin has dropped some hints about what song she will be singing on Saturday night’s X Factor show.
The talented teen revealed in her fourth video diary for ITV.com, that she will be once again doing a very popular song, but putting her own spin on it.
She said:
For this week’s performance, I’ve taken a really well known song again but because it’s halloween I’ve twisted it and made it really spooky.
Janet is a quirky singer and admitted that the song she’d most like to sing on the ITV show, is one that most people won’t have heard of before. No Whitney Houston or Celine Dion for her….she wants to perform a track by American folk band Beirut. She added:
I think I’d like to sing Elephant Gun by Beirut, because it’s a pretty cool song with a pretty cool video.
The Northern Irish singer was asked who she would like to sing with if she makes the finals of The X factor and again, went for someone a little bit different. She doesn’t have her eye on Beyonce, or Will.iam, but instead wants to share a stage with iconic rock band the Red Hot Chilli Peppers.
When asked who her dream duet would be with, Devlin laughed:
That would have to be the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, because all my other favourite artists aren’t well known enough.

| Келли оказывается на этой неделе болела 
X Factor 2011 hopefuls Janet Devlin and Sophie Habibis have defended mentor Kelly Rowland after she flew out to LA for the past week. The US singer only returned yesterday, but the girls revealed they had been in touch with Kelly constantly throughout her trip.
We caught up with the girls backstage at today’s rehearsals and they didn’t have a bad word to say about the Destiny’s Child songstress.
“Kelly is great as a mentor,” Janet told us, “If she’s not in the house she’s ringing and tries to get us to text or email her constantly.”
And asked about whether Kelly’s trip this week had left the girls at a disadvantage, Janet insisted she, Misha and Sophie had all been in contact with the US star “every day”.
Meanwhile Sophie dismissed reports suggesting she was being secretly mentored by Tulisa having been ‘abandoned’ by Kelly.
“I get along with Tulisa fine, I respect her, but Kelly’s my mentor,” Sophie explained to us at the studios earlier today. “I spend a lot of time talking to her. I love Kelly!”

| Misha Bryan has admitted that visiting a Children’s hospice in London this week, has given her a new positive outlook on life.
The X Factor contestant joined the rest of the final 16 acts from this year’s series at Shooting Star CHASE children’s hospice yesterday, seeing first hand who will be benefiting from the proceeds of their charity single, when it is released next month.
Speaking afterwards she admitted:
I’ve not smiled this much in a long time. I’ve smiled so much, my cheeks are hurting.
To see these children smiling and making the most out of life, wow.
There’s an overwhelming feeling of happiness which is amazing.
All of them have made me laugh and touched my heart.
Bryan has had a tough week, after she was branded a bully and a troublemaker by Tulisa and Louis Walsh on last Saturday’s live episode, but visiting the children helped her put the experience behind her and she added:
There’s been some stuff in the papers and some stuff that’s gone on this week that has really got me down but coming here has shown me that regardless of what’s going on around me, life is about what you make it.
The children here may be less fortunate than I am, but they still have reason to smile.
It’s so, so inspiring, honestly.
This has given me the inspiration to keep going for the rest of the week and for the future, regardless of what happens on the show.
The 16 finalists will be grouping together to release their version of ‘Wishing On A Star’ in aid of ACT & Children’s Hospices UK, available via download on November 20 and via physical single on November 21.
