| Distributor Electric Sky has picked up rights to feature documentary A Night In With Robbie Williams.
The one-off doc will air on Sky1 in the UK in November.
A third of the 1x90mins show is given over to Williams performing live and the rest to the pop star talking about his life, music and his recent fatherhood.
Executive producer Ben Winston said: “Robbie is an icon of music and a hero to so many generations. So to get such amazing access to him at an incredibly exciting time in his career is brilliant.”
The programme is made by Fullwell73, UK indie producer that has also made This is JLS, This is Justin Bieber and Gary Barlow: On her Majesty’s Service.
Electric Sky’s commercial director, Karen Young, completed the deal for the distributor. She said: “High Profile titles like this are always popular so we are delighted to have the opportunity to work with Fulwell73 and represent the title in the catalogue.”

| The Candy singer made his boast to James Corden, explaining: ‘Do I think I’m a national treasure? I don’t see why not? I don’t see why I shouldn’t be. I’m a good lad really.’
Speaking on Sky 1 HD’s When Robbie Met James tomorrow night, the former Take That star said: ‘I have a gigantic ego and need to be at the top of the pile and be doing amazingly well; also at the same time I’m just pleased to be anywhere.’

His call for national adoration comes as his great rival Barlow picked up his OBE from the Queen, as the pair prepare to go head-to-head with rival solo tours.
‘There’s genuinely a great chemistry with me and Gaz, there’s a great chemistry with me and everybody in TT. There’s been me and Gaz in my attic with a laptop and some speakers giggling like children from the moment we enter to the time we leave,’ Robbie insists.
‘Giving each other high fives and pounds and, “That’s great! Say that say that brilliant!” And I get respect from one of the best song writers in the world, you know, and that’s all I ever wanted to first time around. But I didn’t give him much to go on the first time around.’
Meanwhile, the 38-year-old claims the only time he watched back his 375,000 fan-strong Knebworth in 2003 was to pull an American girl.
He said: ‘I’ve never watched Knebworth. I’ve watched like the first three numbers of Knebworth gig when I was trying to impress an American girl that had never heard of me in the States’.
Robbie Met James airs tomorrow night at 9pm on Sky1 HD.
