| Robbie Williams has revealed he is a secret communist but struggles with guilt because he also likes to buy expensive things.
Robbie Williams is a secret communist.
The Take That singer believes the political movement - which aims for a classless society based upon common ownership - is preferable to capitalism although he admits he struggles with his political beliefs because he wants to buy a Rolls Royce.
Writing on his blog, he revealed: "Capitalistic conspiracy? I'm with you. The system is destined to explode and I think it's sooner rather than later ... If we could get communism to work without corruption ... I'm in ....The Rolls Royce Phantom is the ultimate symbol (for me any way) of our desire for 'stuff' and it's all 'stuff'. Bulls**t when you break it down ... consume, consume, consume ... we're at the tipping point my friends.
"Fasten your seatbelt we're in for a bumpy ride ... I'm a socialist capitalist which leads to guilt. (sic)"
Robbie, 37, is having such a dilemma over his lavish tastes, he has asked his fans for their advice on whether he should splash out on the extravagant vehicle - which costs over £300,000 - or not.
He said: "I'm having a bit a Rolls Royce Phantom issue at the minute ... have been for a couple of years now ... truth be told ... I'd luuuuuurrrrrvvvvee one ... but I think about you lot and what you would think of me ... I know it's a vulgar display of wealth ... I guess I'm asking your permission ... let's have a vote ... If you lot by majority think it's ok then I'll treat myself, if not I won't, serious. (sic)"

| THE Angels star has sparked fears for his health after penning a rambling blog about touring with Take That.
Robbie Williams confessed he was so exhausted that many nights he wept before going on stage.
In one bizarre comment he said his exhaustion had prevented him from being a “flailing banshee”.

The singer said the tour began to take its toll when he was struck down with food poisoning that forced them to cancel a show in Copenhagen.
Robbie wrote: “Since Denmark there has been nothing in my tank. I couldn’t really feel my legs.
“No power. No strength. No real energy. To be the flailing banshee that I wanted to be.
Just vapours.
“Did I panic? No. I relied on the energy of the audience. The energy of the five boys in unison.
“Did my body write a few cheques it couldn’t cash? Yep. Will it take me a few weeks to feel normal? Yep. Do I care? Nope.”
But the 37-year-old did give fans the strongest hint yet that Take That will tour again.
He wrote: “I don’t really know what’s on the cards but I have to ride again with them. It’s too much fun.”
Rob wrote the entry on his website before adding a wacky video that showed fans around his LA home.
Throughout the video, the bleary-eyed star stared directly into the camera as he babbled on about his life.
And he revealed he broke down before some gigs on the Progress tour, adding: “Did I cry before leaving the hotel room to go to the stadium that day? Yeah. Was it a testament to the human spirit? Sh*t yes.”
He also hit back at critics who complained about his onstage swearing. “Were the boys unhappy with my behaviour on this tour?” he wrote. “Hell f***ing no.”
The blog worried some fans that the star may be about to burn out.
One said: “I love Robbie’s blog and his films but this is a step too far. His mind appears all over the place.
“He seems totally shattered. Some of what he’s written doesn’t even make sense. It’s worrying.”
The star’s spokesman said last night: “ Robbie is feeling on top form right now.
He had a brilliant time on the Take That tour and his blog reflects this.”

| Guy Chambers has said that Robbie Williams once threatened to kill him over a saxophone solo.
The 'Angels' co-writer told The Guardian that the Take That star was unhappy with his ideas for the 1998 single 'Let Me Entertain You'.
Chambers said: "He can be quite tasty, can Robbie: he once pushed me up against the wall for putting a saxophone solo on 'Let Me Entertain You'.
"He said, 'If you ever put a saxophone solo on one of my tracks, I will kill you'. So I put a trumpet solo on instead."
Chambers noted that his worst ever gig with Williams came in Hanover in 2000.
"He was pushed off stage by a fan who thought he was an impostor because he'd dyed his hair black," he explained.
"We had four SAS members looking after Rob's security and none of them managed to stop this guy running on the stage and pushing Robbie off the stage into the pit. He was quite shaken up, but he went straight back on stage. He doesn't give up easily. "
After parting ways with Williams in 2002, Chambers has collaborated with artists including Beverley Knight, Girls Aloud star Nadine Coyle, Peter Andre and The Saturdays.
Williams and Chambers later reconciled and a track from their 2002 writing sessions called 'Blasphemy' appeared on Williams's last album Reality Killed The Video Star. Chambers and Williams also produced a cover of The Kinks 'Lola' for the 2007 Radio 1 Established 1967 compilation.

| ROBBIE Williams is no Angel – this time he’s in the doghouse with his dad.
The potty-mouthed singer’s father, Pete, has blasted Robbie’s claims that growing up in a pub taught him to use filthy language.
Outraged families walked out in disgust at Robbie’s crude outbursts during the recent Take That tour, prompting him to blame his language and bad manners on his
Robbie, 37, bellowed, “I can’t believe you’re f****** here,” when he walked on stage with the band at Wembley Stadium last month, then imitated rolling a cannabis joint before sticking two fingers up at the crowd and announcing: “Let me introduce myself, my name is Robbie f****** Williams.”
Later in the concert, he thrust his hand down his trousers, shouting: “Taxi for Robbie. I’d like to get fake tan on my hands and touch a few breasts.”
In case anyone missed the message, he added: “I want to make you all horny.” But Pete Conway said he doesn’t know where his son learned such elaborate filth.
He said: “He did grow up in a pub for the first few years, but it wasn’t rough.
“He didn’t see or hear any swearing as far as I’m concerned. I don’t swear ever, it’s not in my vocabulary so I don’t know where he got it from.” But the singer def-ended himself in his blog, saying: “I was born and raised (for the first three years of my life) in a pub.
“One of my first words was f*** – and one of my first sentences was ‘give me a f****** Harvey Wallbanger, please’.”
After critics questioned his antics, Robbie blogged: “I know they are frowned up (sic) and the refuge of the uneducated but so be it… F***, f******... can’t be beaten.”
And as the band’s tour moved on to Holland, he ribbed his English fans, singing: “Amsterdam, how’ve you been? You’re like the English but prettier and thin.”
Let’s hope his pillow talk with Ayda’s better.

Rap superstar 50 Cent is desperate to storm the charts with an unlikely collaboration with British pop singer Robbie Williams.
The In Da Club hitmaker is a big fan of the Angels hitmaker and reveals they have already talked about the possibility of hitting the studio together.
He tells the U.K.'s Daily Star on Sunday, "I've wanted to work with Robbie for a long time. We are talking about it. I'd definitely like to do something with him."
Williams recently revealed he's already hard at work writing new songs for his next solo album after completing a hugely successful European tour with his former boyband Take That.

| Gary Barlow has been talking to us about Robbie Williams' past, present and future.
It’s been an amazing year for both the boys having completed their record-breaking sell-out tour with Take That. Now it's over, Gary has been talking to us in more detail about his and Robbie's relationship.
"Since me and Rob have started writing together again, which is about two years ago, we actually never stopped. We love each other's company, we love writing together and hoping this partnership stays together for a long time."
He also spoke about Robbie's plans to go solo again and whether he think he'll be successful again.
"I hope so, I wanted to see him back, he's a brilliant, brilliant performer. When i was backstage i had a little monitor so I could always keep my eye on him [laughs] and to see him shine like that made my tour."

| Geri Halliwell recently ended her two-and-a-half year relationship with Henry Beckwith.
The 39-year-old now reportedly wants to find a new love to settle down with.
A source told Now magazine: "She's nagged Henry about settling down and having kids, but he's refused to be pinned down.
"Geri feels she's wasted enough time chasing lost causes, so she ended it."
The former Spice Girl is allegedly feeling the stress of the break-up and she was spotted at her birthday party at Annabels a couple of weeks ago looking thinner.
Friends of the singer have alleged that she has turned to her old friend Robbie Williams to help find a new man.
The insider added: "He knows a lot of guys in LA who'd love to date her."
Robbie and Geri have been friends since they had a rumoured fling back in 2000.
The source said: "Geri wants the happy ending that Robbie's found."
However, Geri may not be staying single for long after Henry was said to be devastated by the split and wants to patch things up.
