GARY BARLOW has finally solved the mystery of his missing Madame Tussauds waxwork.
The singer was gutted when he heard his model had been melted down during a career low-point a few years back.
In his 2006 autobiography, he wrote: "Madame Tussauds melted down my dummy because they needed the wax to make BRITNEY SPEARS."
Referring to his weight, he jokingly added: "Why only Britney? They could have made all three of DESTINY'S CHILD."
But he's now discovered his waxwork was actually chucked in storage.
He said: "What annoyed me more was that when TAKE THAT came back and were successful again, my waxwork suddenly reappeared out of nowhere, yet slightly aged. They obviously keep them in storage. I don't know which is worse."
Surely nothing could be worse than gathering dust out back with BON JOVI.
