The X Factor finalists will meet the sexy manband when they perform on this Sunday night’s results show. It will be the first live performance of the newly reunited group, since Robbie Williams left the lineup in 1995. It has also been rumoured that both Gary Barlow and Robbie will be conducting mentoring sessions with all the contestants this week.

Speaking to X Magazine Louis Tomlinson said:

“Well they’re obviously our role models, what they’ve all achieved is insane.”

“We still get starstuck, although when we talk to them we realise it’s fine. But I don’t know how I’d react in front of Robbie. He’s my absolute hero.”

Take That were last seen on The X Factor in 2008, when they performed their then new single ‘Greatest Day.’ They had previously performed with Leona Lewis in the 2006 final of the show.

X Factor's Shayne Ward, who livened up our Sunday night by performing his latest single, Gotta Be Somebody, had an UNBELIEVABLE offer from Take That once upon a time.

Gary Barlow revealed in his autobiography that in 2006, Jason Orange threatened to quit Take That, and the Mancunian hunk was contemplated as his replacement!

In a brand-new interview with OK! this week, the 25-year-old revealed: "That was a massive compliment. I’m a huge Take That fan.

"If I’d gone into the band, I’d have loved it, but at the same time I’m my own artist and I’ve only known Take That as the five original members.

"The fans would’ve been like: ‘We want Jason, we want Robbie!"

Shayne, who is now back with a bang after a five year hiatus, said time away was "scary."

"Go away for too long and you do run the risk of being forgotten," he admitted.

"If I met someone who was happy about being away for so long I’d be amazed. Sometimes I was sad and needed to get back. It is a scary thing."

But the pop heartthrob said he still has Simon Cowell's unwavering support.

He said: "Every decision, every song on the album, videos, the lot [has Simon's input].

"If I’m concerned about something I go straight to him. I’d worry if he was like: ‘Yeah, that’s fine, just put it out.’

The 42 year old was seen hobbling on crutches in London on Tuesday (09Nov10) with a protective cast around his lower left leg after reportedly hurting his ankle while working out.

Donald's injury comes just five days ahead of Take That's planned performance on U.K. TV show The X Factor on Sunday (14Nov10) - their first gig as a five-piece in 15 years, following Robbie Williams' return to the group.

It's not the first time the dancer has been hurt - in 2007, Donald was forced to withdraw from Take That's Beautiful World Tour after his lung collapsed while performing gymnastic dance moves onstage.

The row erupted after Take That's management demanded room for 50 hangers-on, causing a redesign at the studios in Wembley, London.

But word got out and their fellow guest act's team refused to take a lesser room, saying: "We've sold more records than Take That."

Show boss Simon Cowell had to step in to sort it out.

A source said: "We've been smashing down walls. But there is no way everyone is going to be happy."
