| Is there trouble in paradise for our fave showbiz couple - Take That's Jason Orange and Catherine Tate?
Rumours abound that the pair have split as they haven't been snapped together for a couple of months.
They also celebrated New Year apart, with Jason, 41, at a detox camp in Thailand while Catherine, 43, remained in the UK.
The pair met at Comic Relief last March.
Catherine, 43, played the singer in spoof pop group Fake That, who had the real boy band - including Jason - appearing alongside them.
The comedienne - who is mum to Erin, 9 - reportedly started seeing Jason in the summer after she split from her stage manager partner Twig Clark, 38.
A spokesperson for Jason says: ‘We don't comment on their private lives.'

| A bench in Kensington High Street
Everyone is asking about Jay and I’ll just write something up really quick. I will probably edit this. So we were jokily strolling along joking about stalking him and my friend goes ‘Oh that looks like Jason’ and I went ‘Oh it’ll be funny if it was cos he’s on a bench’ and it was! After a bit of screaming and calming down and him looking over, I went up and I went ‘Jason I like love you so much’ and he was ‘Alright’ and then I went ‘I’ve been to see Take That 14 times’ and he was like ‘Have you?’ all smiling and I asked if I could have a picture and he went ‘Alright but if you couldn’t put it on Facebook I’m a bit private and I was like ‘Alright’ and he went ‘Come sit down next to me’ and I did, and I touched his leg and went ‘You’re my favourite’ and he went ‘Am I?’ and smiled and then he put his arm around me and my friend got a couple pictures. Oh blank mind. We were chatting and I was just like ‘I can’t believe I’m chatting to you’ and I didn’t want to be annoying him. He said I had a good eye and that people didn’t always recognize him with the sunglasses and the beard and I said ‘Oh you’ve shaved, not shaved shaved but you’ve not got as big a beard’ and I said I hope he didn’t mind us annoying him and he went ‘Nah you’re cool’ and I went ‘Oh my god Jason Orange just called me cool’ which he laughed at. I was asking if him and the boys were going back to the studio and I was like ‘Oh Gary works loads and you’re sitting on a bench drinking coffee’ and he was like ‘I like sitting on benches, Gary likes working doesn’t he?’ and I was like ‘Yeah he works too much’ Oh way at the start he went ‘Oh you just over from Ireland for the weekend then’ and we were like ‘Yeah’ and he asked what we were doing and I said nothing really and that I’d met him now and I could home happy and we didn’t have much money to do anything and he was like ‘Oh that’s my fault with all the concerts’ and I was like ‘Yeah but I’d pay thousands for tickets’ and he was like ‘Really?’ and we were talking about the tour and I asked if he knew the elephant’s name was Nellie and he went ‘Nellie yeah and Om’ and I said I prefered The Circus and he said most people said that and he was saying how he thought that they peaked at the The Circus and that perhaps they were trying too hard with Progress, he didn’t know and I was sitting there going ‘No no Progress was brilliant’ Oh blank mind. I said we’d best go as I didn’t want to annoying him too much and he was like ‘It was lovely meeting you girls, enjoy your non-shopping shopping weekend cos I took all your money’ and he went to shake my hand and then he hugged me and gave me a kiss on the cheek and I died! And then we went and I screamed. I’m sure I’m forgetting something, I’ll add it in if I remember. Pictures will up on Monday! Oh and he was SO FIT and his accent to die for and he was SO lovely

| An historic warehouse will re-open as a gastro pub this summer after its owners were granted their licence by the town hall. The Wharf will bring the old Jackson’s Wharf building, in Castlefield, back to life and create 50 new jobs. It follows a five-year planning row over the site which was at the centre of a ‘David and Goliath’ battle between residents and developers, Peel Holdings, who wanted to build futuristic apartment blocks on the land. Neighbours branded the design – by Beetham Tower architect Ian Simpson – ‘like something out of Star Trek’ and mounted a campaign to block planning permission. Take That star Jason Orange was among 133 people who formally objected to the scheme. Other high-profile objectors included Olympic swimmer James Hickman. Peel finally stepped down last year after their plans were rejected for a fifth time, paving the way for pub company Brunning and Price to buy the old warehouse site. The Chester-based pub group won planning permission for the conversion last year and have now been granted a licence for their venue which is due to open mid-June. It will include a 200-seat restaurant and bar in traditional British pub settings. There will also be an outdoor area by the waterside. Anthony Lyon, a spokesman for the company, told Manchester council’s licensing panel the new venture would be a ‘wine bar meets country pub’ suitable for families. The committee granted the licence after hearing there would be no speakers or live music in the pub’s beer garden which is intended to create a village green type atmosphere by the canal. The Wharf will open until 11pm on Sundays to Thursdays, and midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.

| ORANGE AND DONALD’S RIGHTS UP FOR SALE!
EMI Music Publishing’s new owners are having to sell off several of their top song-writers to satisfy the EC’s deal conditions.
The European Commission watches companies practises and market shares to ensure that they do not establish a monopoly over the market and therefore control prices.
Among those who will have new publishing homes are Take That’s Jason Orange and Howard Donald, they signed to EMI when Take That reformed. Gary Barlow and Mark Owen were already signed to companies (Sony/ATV and Sedna) through their solo and song-writing work for others. Therefore the new company will be buying stakes in TT’s new songs such as ‘Rule the World’ and ‘Love Love’ which including Donald/Orange as song-writers.
Publishing deals look after an artists song-writing rather than recorded versions of tracks, it is seen as a major money spinner for artists as they will reap the benefits from tracks every time they are covered/featured or played in any form including if the words are played anywhere in the world including the American market.
Generally, as you sign a publishing deal, the publisher agrees to pay you a yearly advance in return for owning the copyright for everything you write during the time you’re signed. The publisher then takes 100% of the royalties coming in until they’ve recouped the advance, after which they’ll split it with you according to what you’ve agreed (anything from 50-50 to 80-20 in favour of the writer). It is know what Jason and Howard secured, but the more sure a bet the song-writer is the better deals they can negotiate.
It also means that if they write tracks that aren’t placed within the band then these can be ‘given’ to other artists to record and they will still retain a stake in that song and royalties earned from it.
I am sure that with a new Take That album on the way and another tour in 2014 then Jason and Howard will be at the centre of a bidding war!
