Гари Барлоу спел на др у королевы
http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol....ty.html
TAKE That’s Gary Barlow sang Happy Birthday to The Queen on her 86th — accompanied by Andrew Lloyd Webber on the grand piano.
The X Factor judge combined with the hit musicals composer at Lord Lloyd-Webber’s country mansion.

Her Majesty had accepted an invitation to join them for refreshments on Saturday — her actual birthday — following Newbury races.

Andrew’s wife Madeleine is on the board of the Berkshire course and the couple live in nearby village Sydmonton.

A source said: “Andrew and Madeleine thought it would be nice to go back to their house for some refreshments.

“Gary came along as well and Andrew suggested they sing Happy Birthday to Her Majesty. It really was a very jolly affair.”

Gary, 41, and Andrew, 64, are pals and are writing the official Diamond Jubilee song together.

Gary — no stranger to the royals after greeting William and Kate at a charity gig in London in December — is also organising the BBC’s jubilee concert at Buckingham Palace.

His sing-song with Andrew crowned a busy day for The Queen who had two horses running at Newbury where she kept the rain off with a giant umbrella.

Also at the meeting were golf ace Rory McIlroy and his tennis star love Caroline Wozniacki.

Bentley Motors’ factory in Crewe has provided the setting for the handover of a very special Continental GTC.

The Bentley was the star of the show at a fundraising auction for BBC Children in Need last November when Brendan and Barbara Ainscough bid an incredible £240,000 for the convertible after singer Gary Barlow upped the stakes by promising to hand over the car in person.

The opportunity for a personal handover was an offer Mr and Mrs Ainscough couldn’t refuse and Gary honoured his commitment by meeting the Ainscoughs at Bentley’s factory in Crewe yesterday afternoon to hand over the keys.

“I’m delighted to present Mr and Mrs Ainscough with the keys to their new GTC," said Gary. "We all had high hopes that the Bentley would raise a significant amount of money for Children in Need, but their generous bid exceeded all expectations.

"Their donation will make a real difference to some of the UK's most disadvantaged children being supported by BBC Children in Need."

Completed to the Ainscough’s personal specifications, the car is all the more unique as it includes the signatures of Gary and loyal Children in Need supporters Sir Terry Wogan and Fearne Cotton inscribed into the passenger airbag panel.

Brendan Ainscough said:“This is a very special occasion for myself and Barbara and we are absolutely thrilled that Gary has joined us here today to hand over the keys.

"The auction was a unique opportunity to buy a car we know we will love driving whilst raising money for an important cause that means a great deal to both of us”.

They were joined by Christine Gaskell and Jon Crossley, from Bentley, for the handover and a short tour of the factory.

The auction was part of the gala dinner organised by Gary Barlow in Manchester and the winning bid for the GTC contributed £120,000 to the final record breaking total of £46million raised by BBC Children in Need in 2011.

Look away Simon Cowell, Gary Barlow has been bonding with Tom Jones (and Will Smith, but Simon won't mind that)

Gary Barlow and Tom Jones prove there's no beef between The X Factor and The Voice.

While Simon Cowell was busy slagging off The Voice yesterday evening, little did he know that his head X Factor judge Gary Barlow was busy rubbing shoulders with The Voice veteran Tom Jones.

The pair got on beautifully during a joint appearance on The Graham Norton Show - on BBC1 tomorrow night - bonding over a singalong with Hollywood star Will Smith.

'And what did they sing?', you wonder in our heads. Well, we'll tell you: with Gary on the keyboard and Will and (a less confident) Tom on vocals, they performed the theme tune to Fresh Prince.

Amazing.

And not only did they get on well, but Gary - who was today at the Ivor Novello Awards with his pregnant wife Dawn - allowed Tom to talk about The Voice without putting his hand over the legendary singer's mouth like Simon most likely ordered him to.

On getting emotional on The Voice, Tom said: "I cry every week. When I saw the American version and saw people crying I thought, ‘that can’t be real’ but it is! The worse part is you can’t keep them all. There have been some great singers but they can’t all win. It’s hard deciding who stays and who goes.”

And on why he's still singing, Tom said: “It’s the love of it. I just love singing and I’m getting paid for it. There’s nothing better than that when you’re doing something you love. It’s like a hobby and you turn the hobby into a profession. It’s not like work at all. I was asked the other day, ‘Are you working hard?’ and I said ‘I haven’t worked since 1962!’”

Graham Norton with Will Smith, Gary Barlow and Tom Jones Tom could pass for Gary's dad, no? There's definitely a look

Tom then allowed Gary - who laughed politely at his slightly lame jokes - to talk about The X Factor without shouting 'LA LA LAAAA' over his voice.

Gary said: “If there is one note to self for me, I want to enjoy it more this time, especially the audition side of it. I always thought of myself as the serious music guy but actually 98% of the acts are absolutely awful and incredibly funny, so I want to enjoy them this time round.”

We'd believe Gary about bring the "serious music guy" had he not put Frankie Cocozza into the final.

He also talked about working hard on the concert for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. Gary said: “The Queen is absolutely delighted with the whole line up. Only a couple of weeks ago I got the job of presenting the whole plan of the concert to her and I’d learnt everything about the gig, there’s not a question she can throw at me that I’m going to falter on. And she said, ‘So all that equipment, how long is that going to take to dismantle?’ At this point I’m guessing, so I say ‘about six or seven hours,’ and she said, ‘so, the concert finishes at half ten at night, which means you will be doing that all night at the front of the palace where my family lives.’"

Ooer. Gary should get Simon to have a word.

And then there was Will Smith, who had his own anecdote about the royal family. He said: “It was really cool, I sat next to Prince Charles at the premiere of ‘Ali’ and someone taps his shoulder before the love scene comes up and he looked down the whole time and when it came to an end someone tapped him again and he looked up. He missed my best work!”

We'd be happy to see your best work, Will. Over and over again.

The 'When She Was Mine' stars admit the Take That singer is a big fan of their music.
The Ivor Novello Awards 2012

Lawson could be set to work with Take That star Gary Barlow in the future after front man Andy Brown reportedly told the Daily Star that the legendary musician gave the band his seal of approval.

The four-piece outfit have also revealed the 'Back For Good' singer selected Andy as one of his small amount of followers on Twitter.

"To have someone like Gary wanting to work with us is amazing," he admitted. "He only follows 50 people on Twitter and I'm one of them."

Andy went on to add that he keeps a close eye on his social networking feed as he holds the star in such high regard.

"It's a bit sad, but every day I check to make sure he hasn't unfollowed me yet. Every tweet I do, I wonder what Gary will think if he reads it," he said.

The band are currently on the road on their UK tour which hit Manchester last night (19th May) and the band thanked the "amazing" crowd following the gig.

The band tweeted: "Oh our God. Manchester you were more than mad fer it tonight. That was amazing! Thankyou! Set those alarms to catch us on @t4witter 2morrow!"

Andy Brown also recently told Capital that the source of inspiration of the band's debut single 'When She Was Mine' is The Saturdays singer Mollie King – who is an ex girlfriend of his.

Gary Barlow: I’m too young for knighthood. We’re all most interested in Robbie’s baby. By Mark Jeffereis for The Mirror
Is anyone working harder for a knighthood than Gary Barlow?
Asked if Sir Gary has a ring to it, he sips slowly on a glass of red wine and says with a grin: “I feel a bit young, if I am honest. I don’t wake up every morning thinking about that, I just want to do good stuff.”
“When they asked me to be involved in the Jubilee concert I knew what I could do to change it, to make it feel like a new concert.
"When they asked me to do the record I knew I could have an effect on how it would feel.
"As long as I feel I could bring something to a worthwhile project, then I am always willing to be involved.”
Aside from the concert, busy Gary will also be back as an X Factor judge and is working on ideas for a new Take That album.
But most important of all, his wife Dawn will give birth to their fourth child later in the year, adding to the Barlow brood of Daniel, 11, Emily, nine, and Daisy, three.
In all, there will be three Take That babies this year as Mark Owen’s wife Emma and Robbie Williams’s wife Ayda Field are also expecting.
“I think it is all part of getting ready for the new Osmonds,” he says.
“We can’t do this forever. There is a point where we need to pass it on to the next generation.
“Seriously, Dawn and I need to start getting things ready. But I think Emma is about four weeks ahead of us, so she is going to be first and Robbie is about a month behind us. But I think we are all most interested in Robbie’s baby. I would love surveillance on Robbie’s house 24/7 just watching him, especially, deal with a baby.”
“I am really interested to see how that is going to work. Let’s face it, he is a big kid. But with everyone I know, having kids is the making of them, so I think the two of them are going to really love it. They are a very sweet couple those two, I always call them John and Yoko. They are very close and I think they are going to make a great mum and dad.”
Robbie is expected to be a guest judge on X Factor, following his appearance with Gary at the judges’ house stage last year.
In December Gary revealed he was “not enjoying” the X Factor, but he says he was just tired. And after going on holiday he actually missed the show and can’t wait for the auditions to begin today.
On the documentary he admits he has “fallen in and out of love” with music at times and also doesn’t like the idea of a company assessing their profits for the year based on what he produces.
“The trip has had a big effect on me,” he says.“I am starting a Take That album next year and if I can take one thing from this trip with me, it is that I have been around a lot of passionate people and they are not all doing it for the money side of it.
"They’re doing it because they love it. I have been there. I remember a time when I just did it because I loved it. I still have moments like that, such as the shows we did at the Albert Hall. When we come back with a new record it is about doing what we want to do, not trying to fit in. That is the key.
“So while Take That fans will have to wait till 2013 for another album, the new material is certainly going to be different and with some instruments and themes no one will be expecting. When I left Australia I had a case full of music. There is amazing music there. And I am already thinking of the next record with flavours of this music on it. I really discovered a lot of stuff when I was in Sydney. Travel does influence you musically definitely.”

Gary Barlow, Peter Andre and Jack Osbourne have made the shortlist for the Premier Inn Celebrity Dad of the Year.

Gary Barlow and Peter Andre are on the shortlist for the Premier Inn Celebrity Dad of the Year.

The Take That singer - who has three children and one on the way with wife Dawn - and Peter, who has two children with ex-wife Katie Price, are joined by the likes of Jack Osbourne, Rod Stewart, Sir Elton John and Jay-Z on the list.

If Peter were to win the prize, it would be the third time in a row he has been given the accolade.

Others on the list include British Prime Minister David Cameron, Dannii Minogue's ex-boyfriend Kris Smith, celebrity chef Jamie Oliver and TV presenter Vernon Kay.

Among the newcomers are footballer Christiano Ronaldo, N-Dubz rapper Dappy and John Bishop.

The award claims to reward the celebrity father who has impressed the UK by balancing his showbiz lifestyle with the demands of parenting.

Despite being one of the most high-profile names to be on the shortlist, Gary admitted earlier this week he was more interested in seeing how his Take That bandmate Robbie Williams dealt with fatherhood over his impending fourth child.

He said: ''I think we are all most interested in Robbie's baby.

''I would love surveillance on Robbie's house 24/7 just watching him, especially deal with a baby. I am really interested to see how that is going to work. Let's face it, he is a big kid. But with everyone I know, having kids is the making of them, so I think the two of them are going to really love it.''

The public can register their votes from 25th May 2012 at www.facebook.com/premierinn for who they would most like to see crowned with the coveted title in time for Father's Day (Sunday, 17 June).

Gary Barlow admits he is boring?

The Take That singer and all-round UK do-gooder has admitted this family are pleased he has some new stories to tell after this adventures this year.

He recently returned from a tour of Commonwealth countries putting together a single to commemorate Queen Elizabeth’s Diamond Jubilee – which gave him some new subject matters – including the Queen of course!

Referring to his 2008 charity climb of Mount Kilimanjiro, he said: ”I was at a dinner party the other day and went to tell a story and Dawn went, ‘Oh please, that was four years ago!’ So I’ve had to invent a few new ones on this journey because I am boring, there’s no question about it.”

Gary also joked he is hoping his work on the song, which is called ‘Sing’ and features artists from around the world, and putting together the Diamond Jubilee concert will land him a knighthood following a twitter campaign and he intends for Dawn – who is pregnant with their fourth child – to use the honorary title.

Asked about the Get Gary Knighted twitter campaign, he told OK! magazine: ”I think I’m a little young still, though I have informed my wife that should the day ever come, then I will insist on being called ‘Sir’ at home.

”What was her response? Not printable.”

Gary is in this weeks’ issue of OK magazine – it features the first 3D cover!

Gary Barlow has become a bit of a loner during this year's X Factor auditions after reportedly insisting on eating away from his fellow judges to avoid piling on the pounds.

The star topped the scales at 17 stone after Take That split up in the 1990s, but he embraced a healthy new lifestyle when they made their comeback and is now sporting a slimline figure.

Gary ensures he stays on track by eating on his own away from show boss Simon Cowell and co-judges Tulisa Contostavlos and Louis Walsh during meal breaks at The X Factor auditions.

The Sun reports Gary has special carrot, beetroot and lemongrass smoothies brought to him, and he has banned sugar, caffeine and milk from his diet - drinking just peppermint tea instead.

A source tells the publication: "It's fair to say he is obsessive about his food and will do whatever it takes to avoid temptation. He has even requested he sit away from the other judges when they eat so he is not distracted from his vegetables and lean protein meals. Simon thinks it's hilarious."

Gary opened up about his massive weight loss during an interview last year, revealing: "The key to me when I lost all my weight was portion sizes. You can nearly eat what you want if you don't eat enormous portions. I think if you can control your portion size you've cracked it.

"I used to wake up awful early on a Saturday to get started (on treats), you could eat what you want. What I discovered is I made such a pig of myself on a Saturday, it was quite repulsive. I thought, 'I don't want to be this,'... so after a few weeks (on) the Saturdays the food got less and less. Now it's just part of life for me, I know when I'm full and know when I should stop eating."

А вот такие разговоры настораживают
Gary Barlow thinks Take That will be friends forever, even if they're not always working together.

Gary Barlow thinks Take That will be friends forever.

The 41-year-old singer has seen the band - made up of himself, Mark Owen, Howard Donald and Jason Orange and occasional member Robbie Williams - break up in 1996 before a well-received reunion in 2005, and while they are not always together he envisages they will remain close forever.

He said: ''I talk to the lads about once a week, including Rob. Yeah, we had the fallout, but he's different now.

''In fact, we all are. And I'd love to think we'll be mates for the rest of our days.''

Gary admits he was terrified when the band got back together because he thought they would get ''slated'' but was delighted when the public embraced them.

He added: ''I still can't believe how positive the public were when we got back together! I thought we'd get slated.

''Outside, I was all gung-ho, but inside I was bricking it. I'd love to be more thick skinned by I'm not. That's why I got down when people had a pop at my solo stuff. But I didn't tell anyone. I'm like my mum, tough exterior, not so tough inside.''

А вот это уже не слух - Гари вручат орден за организацию концерта кородевы)
The news will be officially announced with the release of the Queen’s Birthday Honours List next Saturday.

Gary, 41, spent more than a year organising Monday’s concert outside Buckingham Palace, bringing together superstars such as Shirley Bassey, Stevie Wonder and Sir Paul McCartney.

He visited Her Majesty at Windsor to brief her on his progress and also found time to write Sing with Andrew Lloyd Webber. It features 210 voices from the Commonwealth.

A senior Royal source said: “The Queen was delighted with Gary Barlow’s brilliant work and dedication. She made it clear he should be rewarded at the first available opportunity.

“Mr Barlow was told of Her Majesty’s offer a few weeks ago. He was quite surprised, but he has accepted it.”

The OBE is also to reflect Gary’s career. He’s had a string of No1 singles and albums both solo and in the band, including Take That & Party. The news will be officially announced with the release of the Queen’s Birthday Honours List next Saturday.

Cheryl Cole has thanked The X Factor UK judge Gary Barlow for his message of congratulations following the success of her recent number one single 'Call My Name'.

The 'Parachute' singer replied to the Take That frontman's message by congratulating him back for receiving an OBE from the Queen this week.

"Massive cognates on the number 1 @CherylCole," Gary tweeted over the weekend, to which Cheryl then replied: "Thank you Mr. OBE. Proud of you ;)."

Cheryl topped the Vodafone Big Top 40 last weekend (10th June) with 'Call My Name', fresh from her performance at the Capital FM Summertime Ball 2012 the day before, and launched her brand new album 'A Million Lights' today (18th June).

""FINALLY!!!! Its HERE.. #AMillionLights #Enjoy #escape #earphonesinworldout," Cheryl later posted after the midnight album launch.

Last week Cheryl confirmed she has no plans to return to The X Factor UK judging panel in the future, and sees music as her number one priority right now.

Cheryl is also due to kick off her first UK arena tour later this year starting with a show at the Capital FM Arena in Nottingham on 6th October.

Gary Barlow and his wife have a date night once a week to help keep the spark alive in their marriage.

The Take That singer and his dancer spouse Dawn - who are currently expecting their fourth child together - love going out for dinner and make sure they treat themselves every week with a meal in a good restaurant.

Gary - who hails from Manchester, North West England - said: "When my wife and I decided to relocate to London from Cheshire, we made a pact that, regardless of how busy we both were, we'd eat out once a week. Seven years later, we haven't missed a date yet.

"We get to shrug off the constant noise of sharing a house with three children, and even get the chance to finish sentences without being interrupted by a tantrum, fight or a wet nappy.

"These evenings are scared to my wife, me and our marriage. We talk, plan, laugh, gossip, drink and get full. We love to eat out."

Gary - who has battled with his weight in the past - says eating his is "true passion" although he does have to watch what he eats.

He told Style magazine: "Other than music, eating is my true passion. The proof of this was never bigger than in the period of 2011 to 2006 when I ballooned to a huge 16st 9lb. Despite my endless dieting and calorie counting, I've never lost the hunger for a gorgeous and well-run dining room combined with a beautifully sourced and well-cooked meal."

Gary Barlow’s Table Talk Sunday Times Style Magazine.
Gary Barlow Published: 17 June 2012
The Delaunay
Cuisine European
Address 55 Aldwych, WC2

I’ve been a frustrated restaurant critic all my life and even had a little column in a local magazine back in 2005.

So, understandably, when Style asked me to share my experiences at one of London’s recent openings, I jumped at the chance.

The first time I really discovered the restaurant experience and got into that “eat out” culture was at the ripe old age of 18.

My manager, Nigel, took me to an extremely upmarket Chinese restaurant in Worsley, north Manchester. This was good food, not greasy pork balls and gluey sauce. My taste buds woke up and I fell for the luxury and extravagance of eating out. Honest, I said a prayer before going to sleep that night: “Please, Lord, let me earn enough money to always be able to eat in places like that.”

To this day, the thrill and excitement of going out to dinner have never worn off. That prayer must have worked, because I earn enough money to be able to eat out regularly, and so I do. In fact, when my wife and I decided to relocate to London from Cheshire, we made a pact that, regardless of how busy we both were, we’d eat out once a week. Seven years later, we haven’t missed a date yet.

We get to shrug off the constant noise of sharing a house with three children, and even get the chance to finish sentences without being interrupted by a tantrum, fight or a wet nappy. It’s on these evenings that we say real northern things like, “Look at us out in that London, eating scallops”, and “Check you out with a kir royale.”

These evenings are sacred to my wife, me and our marriage. We talk, plan, laugh, gossip, drink and get full. We love to eat out. I’ve grown into an extremely fussy diner from that starstruck 18-year-old, sent silly by a posh Chinese in Worsley. At 41, I’m an experienced diner, known to my friends as the human Harden’s — and that’s the international edition. Name me a city and I’ll give you a heap of great eats. Other than music, eating is my true passion.

The proof of this was never bigger than in the period of 2001 to 2006, when I ballooned to a huge 16st 9lb. Despite my endless dieting and calorie counting, I’ve never lost the hunger for a gorgeous and well-run dining room combined with a beautifully sourced and well-cooked meal.

Part of my love for eating out is the anticipation of trying a new recommendation: will it be a trial, or an exciting discovery? Of course, I am familiar with the owners of the Delaunay. Their new restaurant reeks of Chris Corbin and Jeremy King’s wealth of experience in relaxed but refined dining. I have eaten my way through all of them over the years: the Ivy, St Alban, the Wolseley. They’ve got “class act” rubber-stamped on everything they do.

The room is large but not cavernous like the high-ceilinged Wolseley, so there’s not that sense of eating in a showroom. The interior is clean and understated, without being fixed to a style or decade of design. The menu is equally broad in appeal, the usual array of European comfort food carefully illustrated, section by section, on one of those huge menus that obscures the faces of everyone at the table.

The Delaunay had three crucial tests from me — let nobody say I’m not thorough. The first, and, arguably, the most difficult, was an early supper with two of my children and their friends. (Did I really just say “supper”? My Liverpudlian mother will disown me.) Children are masters at ruining any dining experience. They do things in restaurants they never do anywhere else. And so it started: one by one, the children were asked what they’d like to eat and, rather than replying, they all insisted that the best way of communicating was to whisper their orders in my ear so I could repeat them to the poor waitress.

They went for a predictable selection of hot dogs and hamburgers, all accompanied with thin, golden fries. I ordered a medium-cooked fillet steak, spinach and carrots. With kids, it’s key that the food arrives quickly — hungry and bored children are a form of torture — and it did. The menu was broad, and straightforward enough to satisfy all of our needs.

Of course, the moment all the mains arrived amid a slew of excited staff, my youngest needed the toilet and refused to go on her own. Joy. As soon as I left the table, in came the highly efficient waitress to cover our meals with a silver top to keep them warm. Then there was the customary whole glass of apple juice spilt across the table: in came the team and dealt with it beautifully.

The kids wolfed down their glorified fast food. My steak did what it said on the tin, and came with three types of mustard, as is correct — why is it that, too often, a man has to ask? The sides were fresh, well seasoned, perhaps a little bit dinky.

I’d like to say we all stayed satisfied for the evening, but as soon as we arrived at the theatre, an hour later, the kids continued to poison their bodies with M&M’s and Minstrels.

The next time we visited was for a late supper. Now, I’m a northerner, and I hate eating late. I’d prefer “me tea” — dinner to some of you, supper to the others — at about 5pm. Here we were, arriving with Andrew and Madeleine Lloyd Webber at 10.30pm. This was going to be a super-test for the menu, as I have to eat as light as possible, otherwise I roll around in bed all night, groaning and begging for my belly to be rubbed — and not in a good way.

Et voilà! There was a light and fluffy scrambled eggs and smoked salmon. Although protein-rich, it was a perfect late plate. My wife and the Lloyd Webbers all ordered kedgeree. Again the food arrived at lightning speed. It was too late for anything closer to dessert than a good by-the-glass dessert wine.

While my first two visits were speedy, “in transit” affairs, my last, and test number three, was a standard dinner date. I love nothing more than a slow dinner with lots of courses and friends. Dermot O’Leary and his gorgeous fiancée, Dee, joined us.

This time, we gave the menu a thorough going-over. I went for mixed beets and honeyed goat’s curd to start. It was simple, fresh and stunning. Dermot had the chicken soup with noodles, which he adored. The girls went for an off-menu avocado salad, which ended up being the best starter, fresh, with an incredible mustardy dressing.

Dermot hit the German section of the eclectic European menu and tried three different kinds of wiener: nürnberger, käsekrainer and the berner würstel.

The Barlows stayed light and did the chargrilled fish of the day: sea bream. Doesn’t sound exciting, but boy, it was: bright white, not flaky or chewy, just extremely, perfectly fleshy. I often feel cheated out of a good meal by ordering fish, but not on this occasion. It was one of the best fish dishes I’ve had since my last visit to Rick Stein’s in Padstow.

I finally got to explore the wine list, too. It’s an adequate sheet and not too daunting. We ordered a Rioja that was fruity and rich. I may have drunk most of it, but who knows.

The girls ordered desserts: rhubarb and pear crumble with custard, and rice pudding with plum compote. I thought they were incredible, though neither of us boys was offered a second mouthful.

The Delaunay is set right in the heart of theatreland, an area I wouldn’t usually go anywhere near unless I was going to a show. Pre- or post-show, it’s spot-on: fast, well cooked and elegantly served. Overall, this is an incredibly easy restaurant to eat at.

I guess if I had one criticism, it is the speed of the evening. This is not a relaxing experience: quite the opposite. It’s almost like an eating race between you and the tables around you. On our third visit, the table next to us had three sittings to our one. In the end, we felt guilty we’d sat there for so long, so we paid up and went home.

GARY BARLOW can add restaurant critic to his resume after penning a lengthy review for The Sunday Times.

The Take That star has nurtured a secret ambition to write about upmarket eateries after falling in love with dining out at the age of 18, and his dream came true when editors at the newspaper's Style magazine asked him to pen a column.

Barlow made three separate visits to The Delaunay in the heart of London's West End theatre district, giving four out of five for the quality of its food but just three out of five for atmosphere.

He writes, "I've been a frustrated restaurant critic all my life and even had a little column in a local magazine back in 2005. So, understandably, when Style asked me to share my experiences at one of London's recent openings, I jumped at the chance."

Barlow also admits touring with his band has given him the chance to visit restaurants all over the world, adding, "Name me a city and I'll give you a heap of great eats. Other than music, eating is my true passion."
