| well. Xmas is nearly here and what a great year it has been ! Between the tour and the album we couldnt be happier, we worked hard and hopeed you all like the record it seems you all do, now we try and make it the best TT tour you've ever seen. | Can I just say a massive thanks to everyone who got tickets to The Circus tour.
It's a long time away but I can tell you its gonna be amazing!! I also want to tell you all that my challenge for 09 has been announced.
I'm going to climb Mount Kilimanjaro in South Africa for Comic Relief.
I will be joined by 8 other fantastic people, Chris moyles, Alesha Dixon, Ben Shepherd, Kimberley Walsh, CHeryl Cole, Ronan Keeting and Denise Van Outen.
What a cast!!
We're all in training and can't wait to go. The climb will start in Feb next year.
More news to come.

Wow can't believe it's been so long since I last updated this!
First and most important little Daisy is great. We've only made her sleep in the garden 5 times so far so all good. Dan and Em have accepted her into our family and all is getting back to normal. Lots of respect to Dawn and all women who go through child birth.
Reminds me how useless us men are. Thank you so much to everyone who donated to comic relief.
the climb was amazing but we couldn't of done it without your support. We received all the messages you sent and it really spurred us on !!
If I ever have a stupid idea like that again please hit me !! it was the hardest thing I've ever done in my life and one I don't want to repeat ! Anyway we're in rehearsals now for the big tour. Can't wait. You guys will be blown away.
Trying to get fit but still getting over my back problem. It's nearly better now but I'm so impatient it can't happen quick enough. Here we go !!

| Гари подводит итоги этого года и делает небольшие анонсы) В основном всё что мы уже знаем но приятно что Гари о нас думает Hi everyone Can’t believe we’re in the last 3rd of the year. Even though our Tour was only 5 weeks long we’ve been living the show from January. It was a long road to that opening night but all worth it once we hit the stage. Every night was different too. I have to say it was the most enjoyable tour I’ve ever been a part of. Thanks to all our amazing audiences and thanks to the great team of people that made our dream come true. Hope it’s not too long till we tour again !
Little Baby Daisy A lot has happened this year. The arrival of little Daisy has changed not only the size of our family but also provided us with a lot more work at home. For anyone who has 3 kids it’s not easy trying to give them all equal attention and at the same time trying to find sometime for you and your partner. All worth while but a challenge for sure. Kilimanjaro Challenge I may have said this thank you a thousand times but one more won’t hurt; To all who donated money to help our climb of Kilimanjaro, thank you so, so much. We’ve raised nearly 4 million pounds to date making our charity climb the highest earning challenge in HISTORY!!! Whooo Coming later in the year... I am in the process of putting together a concert for Children in Need. I hope to feature a host of great artists on one stage for a one night only performance that will be broadcast on BBC1 the week before CIN night. We’re hoping not only to raise money for the charity but also raise awareness for a truly great British Institution.
Christmas is coming! As a band we’re putting together a great live DVD of the tour that will be out before Christmas. It will not only feature one of our four nights at Wembley Stadium but also an exclusive live acoustic session at the legendary Abbey road Studios. Singstar have done a fantastic job on the Take that song book. Feel free to sing your heart out !! Also we’ve put together a cracking book that shows in picture our history. Yes lot’s of embarrassing shots and stupid haircuts to sift through. It’s a nice book of memories for us guys too as it’s the culmination of 18 years of our lives and careers. Fantastic !
Look out for Camilla Kerslake
As usual any spare time I have I’m involved in trying to help and launch new artists. My big hope for this year is Camilla Kerslake. She’s only 20 years old (I’m nearly twice her age!). She’s a classical singer with the voice of an angel.Look out for her on tv’s various and listen out for the voice behind the Waitrose advert !! Good luck Camilla !!

Rob and I worte Shame on the 25th August 2009 ad a house I'd rented for the summer in Los Angeles. It was one of those spare of the moment change, he was at my house, I had a song on the go and he wanted to write!! Amazing! We put vocals on it a few days later. John Shanks helped me knock a demo togehter for us to sing it. When I went home in Sept I wondered if anything would ever happen to that song, little did I know it would be launching Robbie's Greatest Hits this year! When they decided to use this song, Trevor Horn was chosen to produce it. Rob and I went along one evening and gut the vocals standing opposite each other. It was great fun and really worked for the record. Trevor was a joy to work with, he'd produced 2 songs for me in the 90's but I was looking forward to working with him again.
2 days after we wrote Shame, Rob and I were back at it. This time we wrote the up tempo Herat and I.
This was an instrumental piece of music, I had, but when I played it to Rob he sang this soaring melody over it. Wihthin an hour he had written the most beautiful lyric. I got Rob to sing a guide on the track with a trappy mic into my laptop. When I got home a week later I worked it up and send it back to Rob. He loved it an decided to use Shame and Heart and I on his greatest hits. The track then was produced by legendary producer Trevor Horn.
