| The teenage prodigy of Take That star Gary Barlow will be the special guest of chart sensation Jessie J at Shrewsbury’s Quarry Park on Friday, it was revealed today.
Seventeen-year-old A*M*E has been added to the line-up for the concert.
The hotly-tipped singer is signed to Gary Barlow’s Future Records and has enjoyed a rapid rise after emerging on the UK music scene just a few months ago.
The other support act for the show will be Jay James Picton.

| A*M*E – Play The Game Boy
How is AME not massive yet? Referencing a electronic toy that she’s probably too young to even remember she has managed to produce one of the catchiest songs of 2012…forget Lana forget Rita Ora and get behind this girl.
The video is really modern but with a definitely factor to it – I love the colours and the visuals used. The chorus is insanely funky too and the production is first rate. I know that she is working really hard at the moment touring and building up a fan-base so I’m expecting big things for AME in 2013!
Swaggeriffic…oh and the Gary Barlow connection…she’s signed to his record label.

| A*M*E has been warned by mentor and record label boss Gary Barlow to “stay true to herself” and avoid getting sidetracked” as the youngster claims her first number one on the UK singles chart.
The 18-year-old, whose real name is Aminata “Amy” Kabba, has managed to knock off Ant and Dec's 'Let's Get Ready To Rhumble' this week, with her track 'Need U (100%)' which features Duke Dumont. Reflecting on her chart success, the youngster who hails from Sierra Leone, admits that she is still in shock over the feat.

A*M*E has topped the charts this week with single 'Need U (100%)' (WENN)
“It's so crazy! I still can't begin to believe it!” A*M*E said according to the Watford Observer. The singer also revealed that her mentor and X Factor judge Gary gave her advice on how to maintain a level-head as her career progresses.
“The most important advice he has given me is just be true to myself and keep doing what I'm doing. It's really easy to get sidetracked and to lose your point of focus when you first start in the industry. So I've been staying true to myself and keeping it youthful,” she said.
A*M*E is certainly becoming one of the hottest names in music after being nominated for the 2013 Sound of 2012 Poll, working in Los Angeles with top producers on her debut album, while also confirming her next single, 'Heartless' will be released on June 23.
