Robbie Williams has hinted that he is open to the idea of having children with wife Ayda Field in the immediate future. Speaking on Paul O'Grady Live, the Take That member, who married Field at his LA home back in August, revealed that he is hesitant but willing to make his family bigger.
"She wants them straight away," he explained. "I quite like not having them straight away. I should get at it really, shouldn't I?"
Father-of-three and Williams's bandmate Gary Barlow added: "We’re trying to get him into the idea by bringing the kids with us to shows and stuff, but I think we’re putting him off."
The pair then teased an exciting and time-consuming upcoming event that could potentially disrupt Williams's baby plans.
"We’ll get the Take That thing done, maybe, maybe not go on tour next year," he smirked. "But after that I think me and the missus will maybe have a kid or two."
Williams proceeded to joke about his previous claim that he would like to have a gay child.
"The Japanese are very clever these days, they come up with all sorts, so maybe they can sort out a gay baby for me and the missus."
