Мужчины Стоука-Он-Трент круты)

FELLAS from Stoke-on-Trent are blessed with the biggest manhoods in Britain, according to a new survey.

The claim will no doubt please Robbie Williams, guitarist Slash and Claire Danes’s husband Hugh Dancy, who all hail from the town, along with darts champ Phil ‘The Power’ Taylor.

While Stoke tops the table for length, Bristol boys are ahead in one area – circumference – according to a survey from condom makers TheyFit.

Phil 'The Power' Taylor and Hugh Dancy
Local lads ... Phil 'The Power' Taylor and Hugh Dancy

The specialist sheath makers produce a whopping 95 different sizes of their product to cater for different combinations of length and girth.

They claim their survey of more than 20,000 customers has produced more accurate statistics than previous research because it is based on actual measurements – rather than what men claim when they are questioned.

Leeds, Manchester and Birmingham follow Stoke in terms of length in a top ten dominated by cities in the Midlands.

Only Oxford and the Essex boys of Chelmsford represent the south in the table.

Oxford also features in the top ten cities by girth, behind Bristol, and ahead of Leeds and Newcastle.

Regionally, the largest sizes are those ordered by customers in the North West, followed by the North East and the North of England.

The smallest sizes are ordered by those in the South West, East Anglia and the East Midlands, said TheyFit.

For those for whom size matters, the average UK penis length is 5.1 inches and average penis girth, or circumference, is 4.7 inches.

One in five men (21 per cent) are longer than six inches and one in four (26 per cent) are shorter than five inches.

Joe Nelson, founder of TheyFit, said: “Our anonymous data represents the most accurate survey of penis sizes ever collected.

“Previous studies have relied on self-reported measurements from men, leading to an issue of ’size exaggeration’.”

Одна из Лучших песен Дня Святого Валентина -
Robbie Williams – Angels

It’s the song that most of us think of when we look back at the solo career of Robbie Williams, despite only going to fourth in the UK singles chart when it came out in 1997.

Since then though, the song has become a goliath of a track, going to be Robbie’s biggest selling single and the first track on many a person’s romantic complilation.

It’s the karaoke classic for good reason, as this was the song that ensured that not a single wedding went by in the late nineties without Robbie making it onto the speakers. That it was named the best song of the past 25 years at the 2005 BRIT Awards speaks volumes as to how much the UK loves Robbie’s love song.

ROBBIE Williams reckons he can’t fly without his pet dogs sitting beside him.

And he has a letter from his shrink to prove it.

The superstar says he needs his pooches for mental support when he jets across the globe.

Robbie, 39, arranged for Sid the husky and another of his seven dogs to sit with him when he and wife Ayda Field flew from Los Angeles to Britain.

The singer told the Daily Star: “I brought two of them over this time as I don’t want to put them in the cargo hold.

“One of them is Sid, my husky, but he’s more of a wolf really.

“We sit them next to us on the plane. But you have got to go to a shrink and say you need them for mental support, so I got a letter.

“Listen, I am not lying, I do need them for mental support!”

Robbie, who is setting up home in London with Ayda, 33, and five-month-old daughter Theodora, brought the rest of his dogs over by cruise liner because he didn’t want them to freeze in the plane cargo hold.

But the former Take That singer had to persuade his wife to keep the pack.

He added: “Ayda was bitten by a dog as a kid but I told her not to worry, my dogs are amazing.

“A few of them look ferocious but they’re actually really calm. They have

EXCLUSIVE: Brits performer Robbie Williams says he hasn’t turned his back on Take That for good.

Despite resurrecting his solo career by topping the charts after the band’s reunion, the Be A Boy singer told Guilty Pleasures: ‘I’m sure there will be a me and Take That situation and us.

‘I love being with the boys and I want to do it again. Whenever that is I don’t know but I’m sure…years ending in zeros or fives will do it.’

Robbie Williams doesn't 'have a clue' why his wife Ayda Field has sent him to parenting classes.

The British singer and his spouse welcomed their daughter Theodora Rose into the world in September last year

The 38-year-old star believes he is a good father and claims he has no idea why Ayda thinks he needs to attend a support group.

"I change nappies! And I visit those mother-child-classes...' Robbie revealed to German newspaper Bild. 'You meet other parents, talk about your experiences. I don't have a clue why you have to go there though. But Ayda wants it this way."

The Take That star is well known for his love of partying and living the bachelor lifestyle when he was younger. He says Theodora, or Teddy as she is affectionately known, will also have to learn life can't always be perfect.

"Of course I did a lot of things I regret. And Teddy will make mistakes too, and will regret them,' he continued. 'But when she does, we're there for her."

The star is doing a 15-date stadium tour across Europe this year.

Robbie will begin his series of shows - the first for over six years - in Manchester City Stadium in June.

He shared other projects he's been working on, such as a clothing label, which will be coming out later this year.

"At the moment my priority is Farrell [his clothing line]. In summer it will be music again - I will go on tour,' Robbie explained. "After that I'll keep on doing fashion."

CELEBRITIES including Robbie Williams and Mo Farah will today urge George Osborne to clamp down on tax-dodging firms.

The stars want the Chancellor to force firms to pay their taxes in the world’s poorest countries.

They claim it would help developing nations become self-sufficient — removing the need for foreign handouts.

More than 25 top British stars are backing the Enough Food for Everyone IF campaign which aims to end global hunger.

In a letter to Mr Osborne ahead of next week’s Budget, they praised the Government’s pledge to spend 0.7 per cent of national income on international aid.

But they added: “The IF campaign is calling on the UK and other governments to change global rules to make sure companies pay their fair share of tax in the poor countries in which they operate.”

Tax avoidance by multinationals costs poor countries more than £100billion a year, campaigners say.

Spokeswoman Jenny Ricks said: “This will help poor people abroad and those at home.”

ROBBIE WILLIAMS put ADELE and her family up at his gaff in LA for a few weeks earlier this year.
Now the TAKE THAT man’s expat hospitality has proved well worth it.
The Grammy, Brit and Oscar-winning singer has agreed to sing a duet on his next album, a return to a swing theme.
It’s a big result for Robbie, Adele and her management have knocked back countless offers over the past year.
And it’s good news for her too — Robbie’s 2001 Swing When You’re Winning album is his biggest seller. In 2009 Adele, who also likes a night out with Robbie’s wife AYDA, said: “I’m not doing collaborations. I love to sing with people live rather than on record.
“If I could do one with anyone — Robbie? Any day.”
He’s pencilled in studio time with her for later this year.
A source said: “Adele and Robbie have really hit it off.
“They are great friends and talked at length about doing something together when she was in LA with him ahead of the Oscars last month. They threw some ideas around but haven’t decided exactly what song they’d like to work on, things are in the early stages.”
Robbie has previously dueted with KYLIE MINOGUE on 2000 hit Kids and NICOLE KIDMAN sang Something Stupid with him. Swing When You’re Winning also featured duets with actors RUPERT EVERETT and JANE HORROCKS and a digitally assisted duet with Robbie’s Rat Pack hero FRANK SINATRA.
But Adele has never recorded a single with another artist.
Earlier this week Robbie ruled out any future indie collaborations by slamming “three chord knobheads” of the Nineties.
And they are hitting back one by one. NORTHERN UPROAR are the latest, claiming Robbie asked to join them in the late Nineti

SUPERNATURAL nut ROBBIE WILLIAMS would do anything to spot ghosts and UFOs.
Now he’s got a new pal to help him do that – MEAT LOAF.
The pair have known each other for years and Meat is planning to take Rob on a hunt for CHARLIE CHAPLIN’s poltergeist.
He said: “Robbie should absolutely come ghost-hunting with me. There are so many places to go – we could head to the old A&M recording studios in LA. They think Charlie Chaplin’s down there.”
Meat, who starts his farewell tour in Newcastle on April 5, believes his body acts as a ghost doorway.
He said: “There are people they say are conduits, who are more open to it, and so this stuff’s been going on since I was a kid.
“I’ve seen my mother after she died and my grandmother. I talked to my mother, and she talked back.
“And I’m not crazy, but people would think, ‘He’s crazy’.”

Oh no, this is arguably odder than the searching for UFO's chapter of Robbie William's life.

The former Take That singer has become obsessed with his own death and has even started planning his funeral - saying he wants to be buried in Los Angeles.

The Take That star may only be 39, but Robbie says he has changed his mind over original plans to be laid to rest in his home town of Stoke-on-Trent.

The morbid singer used to want to be buried close to his beloved grandmother Betty (Williams) at a cemetery in Tunstall, but now says he’s considering a plot in Beverly Hills where he lives with wife, actress Ayda Field and baby daughter Teddy.

He said: “The thing about Stoke, my heart seems to be there. I have an interesting dilemma.

“If we stay in Los Angeles and this is our home for the rest of time, I’m not going to want to be buried at Stoke-on-Trent.

“When I am back in Stoke, my favourite place to visit is my grandma’s grave at Tunstall Cemetery. I have always thought that is where I would end up, at the cemetery.

“But because I now have an American bird as my wife, and I plan to be with her for the rest of time.

“Ayda’s grandma is in a cemetery over here, in a cemetery just down the road from our house. Her grave is constantly in the sun. It’s a nice place to end up.”

Robbie and wife Ayda Field
PA
Speaking on his Radio Rudebox podcast last week Robbie revealed he wasn’t afraid of dying, adding: “I don’t feel sad about it for some reason, it’s an inevitability.

“I may take cremation on board. I always thought I was going to be buried.”

The star, has been settled in LA for over 10 years and says returning back to Stoke would be impossible now given his superstar lifestyle.

Robbie is flying high right now after scoring a number one album, becoming a dad to adorable baby daughter Theodora, teaming up with lovely Gary Barlow and getting himself a haircut to remind us of the glory days.

This summer he'll embark on his second tour in just over a year Buy Robbie Williams tour tickets now with Mirror Tickets with Olly Murs supporting him.

And in an er, unexpected turn of events Robbie has suggested he might just go the extra mile for his Take The Crown tour.

"There is lots of me singing my songs and live sex.

"I plan to do a lot of live sex on stage and I am practising by having a lot of un-live sex, but it didn't work out very well," he told The Sun.

He clarified the event would be a solo performance saying: "I can promise you nudity and the sex will be with myself."

She's The One: Robbie Williams' father Pete Conway, 64, marries Melanie Mills, 39, who is the same age as the singer

By Hanna Flint

PUBLISHED: 16:34 GMT, 1 May 2013 | UPDATED: 17:45 GMT, 1 May 2013

Robbie Williams watched his father Pete Conway said 'I do' to his love Melanie Mills on Wednesday, at his Wiltshire home.

But the 39-year old singer's new step-mother is actually the same age as him and 25 years younger than his dad.

Robbie hosted the nuptials for Pete, 64, at his Wiltshire estate, which was attended by friends, family, and of course, his wife Ayda Field, 33, and their seven-month old daughter Theodora Rose.

Pete and his new wife - who is the same age as Robbie - beamed as they walked outside the country grounds after the ceremony.

The South African bride wore a strapless gown with floral embellishment, while the groom opted for a grey suit.

Robbie was nowhere to be seen, obviously taking his hosting duties seriously, and maybe warming up his vocals to serenade the happy couple at the reception.

At the singer's 2010 wedding in Los Angeles, club singer Pete sang to his son and new bride, so Williams' may well be repaying the favour.

And if his recent comments are anything to go by, Billy Bragg and The Clash may be making the playlist, as Robbie believes the music scene is missing that rebellious voice of old.

The sun came out for the bride and groom at the eight-bed rural retreat in Compton Bassett which Robbie bought in 2008.

Pete and Melanie met through the Donna Louise Trust, of which Robbie is patron and his new step-mother works as head of fundraising.

His dad proposed in Malta last year, and told the Daily Mirror that, 'Robbie is so, so pleased for me.'

'Melanie and I have been together for two years so we thought we’d get engaged. The next thing is to plan the marriage.'

The 'Candy' singer and his tour support act Olly may be planning a team-up together.

Olly Murs has teased that he and Robbie Williams may record a collaboration together sometime soon.

The 'Heart Skips A Beat' singer says he was very impressed by Robbie's team-up with Dizzee Rascal on their new song 'Goin' Crazy' , and would love to lay down a track with the 'Candy' singer if the opportunity comes up.

"We were talking about writing a song together after I said I thought his BRITs track was great," Olly revealed to the Daily Star this week. "We might do something for a laugh just to put online.

"I think what he's done with Dizzee Rascal is brilliant - he's getting bling!" Olly explained.

The UK singer-songwriter is set to join Robbie as his support act on the road next month, as part of Robbie Williams' UK stadium tour, and Olly has been teasing what fans can expect.

"I saw Robbie on Tuesday and he didn't give much away but just said it's going to be big, massive and huge," Olly added."He wants to show people he's the real real.

"If that Take That and Knebworth shows are anything to go by, it's going to be special."

Olly Murs joins Robbie Williams out on the road next month and both artists will perform live at the Capital FM Summertime Ball next weekend on 9th June at Wembley Stadium.

When John Lennon declared that the Beatles were more popular than Jesus, his boast did not seem far-fetched. It was 1966: rock'n'roll was the new religion, and it was sweeping the globe. Commentators railed against the threat that popular music posed to the moral fabric of society, while some suggested it would devour every culture in its path.

But research by two leading economists now suggests fears that British and American music would end up conquering the world were largely overblown. Indeed Britain, though still a pop music success story, no longer penetrates the global charts as it did in Lennon's heyday and again in the mid-80s when Duran Duran, Wham! and Culture Club were making records.

And, far from pop music shrinking the globe, there is evidence that many countries' indigenous bands and singers are now thriving thanks to new technology.

The two economists, Joel Waldfogel, a professor at Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota, and his co-author, Fernando Ferreira, found that some smaller countries were starting to consume more indigenously-produced music. They looked at data culled from over a million chart entries in 22 countries between 2001 and 2007. Their research examined 98% of the global music market and the work of more than 23,000 artists. They found that 31 artists appeared simultaneously in at least 18 of the countries' charts for at least a year. Twenty-three of the "superstars" were American – including Black Eyed Peas, Britney Spears, Eminem, Madonna, Pink and Usher. Of the remaining eight superstars just two, Dido and Robbie Williams, were from Britain. Others included Shakira from Colombia and Shaggy from Jamaica.

But the success of the best-known "brands" tells only part of the story. The authors compared each country's share of the global music market with their share of the world's GDP. Significantly, they found six countries have disproportionately large shares of the global music trade compared with their share of GDP. These were Sweden, Canada, Finland, Britain, New Zealand and the US.

Sweden's share of the world's music sales market was 59% above its share of the world's GDP, suggesting that the country's musicians, who, in the period examined, included Ace of Base, Roxette, the Wannadies, and the Cardigans, punch far above their weight. In comparison, Britain's music sales were 52% above its relative world GDP share, while US sales were 33% above.

Despite being a country that clung to its cultural importance as its stock in the world declined in recent years, it appears Britain is no longer the music powerhouse it once was.

The authors found that Britain's share of the global music market rose from about 10% to a peak of more than 30% in the 60s, a period known as the "British invasion". It then fell to 20% in 1970 before rising to a peak of roughly a third of the world market in the mid-1980s, the "second British invasion". The UK's share has fallen steadily since.

Music from the US continues to make up the largest share of the world market, but this fell from nearly 80% in 1960 to 40% in the mid-80s and is now just under 60%.

More surprisingly, however, the authors found that interest in domestically-produced music has risen steadily throughout the world over the past 15 years, possibly due to the appearance of locally-tailored MTV channels, the growth of the internet, and domestic airplay quotas like those governing French radio.

The authors found that in 2007 some 70% of all music consumed in the 22 countries studied was produced by domestic artists, compared with less than 50% in the 1980s.

Waldfogel said the internet, instead of leading to a mass global culture, had actually helped "democratise" music by allowing musicians in smaller countries to make and distribute their product more easily. "In the last decade there has been an explosion in new product artists coming to market," he said. "These are artists who would never have made it to market before. This has resulted in a growth in the share of the market for artists from independent labels."

The research does not cover the last six years when digital sales started to take off. Waldfogel, who is currently researching the effects of such sales, speculated that technology could have profound consequences for sales of music across national boundaries. "If continental Europe was concerned about the impact of US and British music before, they should be very afraid now," he said. However, he suggested the future could also see smaller nations become significant music exporters. "The question now is to what extent Americans will become more open-minded about music from the rest of the world," he said, pointing to the popularity in the US of the French band Phoenix. "We could become a very big market for smaller countries if we can broaden our tastes," he added. The global phenomenon that is the South Korean singer Psy suggests that this trend may already be under way.

FORMER hellraiser Robbie Williams has ditched his badboy concert demands in favour of high chairs and Cow&Gate milk.
The singer, who will play Dublin’s Aviva this Friday, has a list of demands to cater for baby Theodora who is set to tour with him this weekend.
And instead of cigarettes and booze, proud dad Robbie wants a backstage area fit for his little princess in Dublin.
An insider revealed: “Robbie is planning on travelling to Dublin with wife Ayda and baby Teddy this weekend.
“His requests are all baby-friendly, from a Moses basket to high chair — he’s quite the devoted dad.”
Rob, 38, and wife Ayda Field, 33, had their first child, Theodora Rose, in September.
And Williams recently admitted that the arrival of his baby meant that his partying days on the road are definitely over.
He said: “It will probably mean I’ll get more sleep because she’s there, as opposed to less. She’s rounding off my sharp edges as the weeks progress.”
Robbie, who famously loves Irish audiences, can’t wait for his stunning wife and baby girl to see the reaction of the Dublin crowd.
The star is set to land in Dublin on Friday morning with his family ahead of the gig in front over 50,000 fans.
Robbie will be supported by X Factor star Olly Murs who will also arrive by jet on Friday.
Health-conscious former Take That star Robbie has also demanded healthy nibbles and treats backstage at the Aviva.
And Robbie wants a personal masseuse backstage at all times to de-stress him.
As well as that he’s requested some root ginger and lemon to keep his voice in tip-top shape for Irish fans.
The singer recently revealed that he and American missus Ayda are trying for a second baby.
Robbie said: “My little girl is wonderful. Little Teddy. We are going to do more of them because they are amazing.”
